I guess i was wrong.. i used to say that wii was a really good console all the time, but now that i see this, i know wii is the worse console of all, even worse than the PS1!
Here's the proof:
I mean, they gave a 8.5 score to super mario brothers for wii, and it's just the same as the snes version. Now you know what that means, that they used the same cpu of the snes for the wii, that's why they managed to make it so cheap, obviously. Boy.. i'm glad i didn't get a wii, i'd be missing my money already.

It's sad when people waste their money on bad consoles that'll get old so fast their ancestors get better score than the new games... what a waste of money for the people who bought it...
I managed to pick up Red Steel, Wario, Zelda and Excite Truck but I find myself playing these retro games more.
Never had a TG16 or SNES so I can finally pick these little gems up. The Classic Controller is hands down the best 2D controller I've used, not so for N64 stuff though.
Us Europeans get a Virtual Console update tonight I'm hoping we'll finally get Link to the Past seeing we're in a drought at the moment. Or surprise us with Ocarina of Time or F-Zero X. Got 2500 points left over from R-Type 3 last week.
- Wow! Now I can play all these games I loved and these I never got to play! Virtual Console is awesome!

Are you aware that you said the exact opposite?
Also, the fact that something can emulate an older system does not mean they have the same processor. If I play NES games on an Intel Core Duo 2 in Windows XP, does that mean I'm technically using NES hardware? I think not.
Also, you'll find that Super Mario World and Super Mario Brothers are different games.
I'm not trying to flame you, but just trying to show you that your reasons for bashing the Wii have no real value. Somehow I doubt that you've ever played a Wii. It's not just the graphics and power that make a console fun, but the fun itself. Don't you try to pretend that warioware isn't fun, you.
nintendo tries to be innovating, they try to make a fun console. So what if the Wii isn't as powerful as PS3 or Xbox360? it's a lot more fun because of the controller. And no, i have not bought a wii.
Just understand that Powerful machine does NOT = good games..but i wouldnt expect you to understand
lol, ok but i bet they are expensive, i havent really gone out and see if they are for sell, i just assumed since Gamecubes and PS2 still cost like 350 dollars here
Noone has ever spent a lot of money on a WII. Because they're not expensive.
They cost Nintendo about $130 to make and they retail for $250. However they are in short supply and great demand, which drives prices up. The PS3 is also expensive, but that's because Sony decided to use fancy cell cpu and bluray, not because anyone wants it.

you know what i hate about the ps3? have you seen the game trailers? games fucking suck! they are the same as ps2, only with graphics you can only fully apreciate with a huge screen tv, wich i dont fucking have. Also, the animations don't have the physics and realism i thuoght they'd have, ps3 lied to me. But the wii sucks more.

I tried the Wii a couple of days ago. The tennis game and Baseball game were pretty fun, but other then that it was way too difficult to enjoy. As for the Virtual Console, I guess I am the type of person that "Meh! I can play these games for free on my xbox/psp/computer. VC sux."
thinking is like pong, it's easy, but you miss sometimes.
I have: snes,amiga,ps1,dreamcast,n64,xbox,nes,c64,ds,gbc
and i have played with em all.
Playing with friends best are wii, n64, gamecube,xbox,xbox360 (not in order)
Why newest sony products suck:
PS3, PS2 has shitty controllers.
PSP, PS3 has nice grapohic games which are short, and are boring as shiiiiiit.
By new generation consoles (if have net get live and xbox360)
If have many friends get wii. But reality players like me get old consoles (snes,ps1,n64).

I'm so hooked on Excite Truck now that I don't care what comes out for anything else, if this "demo" of a game is this fun then I wonder what games will be like in a year or so.

The console itself probably doesn't suck at all. Potentially quite the opposite given it's probablyh more powerfull than most current pc's.
Give it some time and it will have some decent games.
I can afford any console too but i'm not paying over the odds for a console that has yet to convince me that it's anything other than simply a next generation console that is very expensive.
