Is it possible for MMF2 to able to be exported on other platforms?
Like the wii, PSP, or the DS.

To do it yourself would you need the source code? If so is it available?
Whats the deal on this, is it possible at all to have click games on something other than a PC?

It might be possible on Linux. Mac, no.

PSP, DS, PS2, Wii are not likeky as such games are written in a very different language, not at all like windows binaries. Xbox or Xbox 360 are more likely as they are closer to windows. It is not legal to make games for any of these consoles as the companies that make them require a huge licence fee, that you have to pay to have your game it on their console.

I would also really like to have klikgames on Wii. But the chances are not big that we will se such a day. )=
In the end it is up to Clickteam if they'd make a redesigned MMF for DS/Wii/Whatever. Then it has to be legal, though.

Id like to know what do use to do games for the PSP and DS. thats what 2d games are for, what do people use to make games on them, same goes for the wii, you can have a wii dev kit for 17 hundred USD and do it yourself, at that price its asking to have engines port to it.

for the wii I can only think of the Vicious Engine, thats a 3d engine, its also does the PSP, so I cant think of a 2d one, for the PSP and the DS I cannot think of a single 2d engine at all, I have no idea what people use to make DS games, cant think of any 3d or 2d engine that port to it, hell knows whats used on that platform.

My friend on Polish Klik Community has managed to run a Klik (I think MMF) game on PSP using (I think) an emulator. So I guess it would be possible. Not sure. Not sure if you can get in touch, he speaks Polish only and probably poor English.

I have heard of that, there is a hand held the GP2X that can play PC games.
But what Im talking about is doing something you could get published on those systems.

The truth is, MMF2 is Windows Only and it wont be changing any time soon, no way to export them to other platforms, not even other operating systems. You need to emulate them, Google is your friend in that respect.

Brandon is right. MMF2 isn't coming to any other platforms for quite some time.

Clickteam said they would port it to Mac and Linux, if they only had someone to do it for them. But Wii, PSP, DS? I actually lolled to that. And them giving out the MMF2 source for people on the interwebs to port it for them? Lolled x2.

Handheld platforms? No way. Gaming consoles? Perhaps, but probably only emulated with a Windows emulator.

Other OS'es? Use Parallels for the Mac to use Windows on a Mac, and use Wine in Linux.

Paralells is awfully slow, and it only works on the new intel ones. Use bootcamp in that case anyway.

Parallels runs MMF2 fine, but running a beefy click game and it will cry lesbian tears. Cuz of Tormishire like I'm always on Bootcamp these days. I'd love an OSX or DS "porter" though. They're never gonna happen but still one can dream.

As far as other platforms goes, Like everybody else said, there are no plans for gameconsoles like the DS or PSP. Honestly, even if they could, Their performance would be terrible

One thing that I heard IS happening, however, is that they might be making a version for Pocket PC, but based on what I read, that may not happen for a very long time

You could always learn a programming language

Even Flash is cross-platform and is very easy to learn. I've been working on Flash for quite some time but with my actual programming course coming up soon I have put off making any games with it until I learn the MCSD courses. I think if you put your mind to it you could make a decent Flash game after maybe 3 weeks of learning. If you get off your ass and take a course on Actionscript like I did, you might be able to do it even faster.

As much as it seems irrelevant, the basic concepts learned in MMF is appliable to other coding languages. Not exactly the code, but the way you go about coding. Structure is very important and MMF is structured.

Hell, even the PSP supports a limited version of Flash 6. I haven't played around on the new generation of consoles but I'm sure they all do or soon will support some form of Flash rendering.

Ahh, so these consoles support flash, is that for real, If thats true, then it would be an opportunity to develop games for xbox arcade using flash, can anyone confirm this, is flash supported on consoles?

PSP can actually run on windows, but it runs hella slow (Windows 95 takes 20 minutes to boot). Linux can emulate windows (Google 'Linux Wine Emulator') and use any clickproduct. If anything, I'd try making a game for the PSP, but hey, as I said.. Installing Windows on a PSP might not be worth it, and please don't even think about instaling linux on a psp and emulate windows on it.
