Both golden sun games are cool, most castlevanias are cool, mariokart is cool as it has loads of tracks and looks good, all the SNES ports are good apart from being, well, SNES ports. Zelda minish cap is really nice but way too short, Mario&Luigi superstar saga is great and there are prolly some cool megaman games but I don't like megaman so thats those are not one of my favorites.
Oooh theres a subject, I haven't played GBA games for a while. But my favourite ones are:
Sonic Advance 3
Gunstar Future Heroes
Astro Boy
Yoshi's Island (Mario Advance 3)
Super Mario World (Mario Advance 2)
Chu Chu Rocket
Doom (although its extremely dark, best played on a DS)
Lady Sia (love the art style)
Wario Ware
F-Zero GP Legend
Banjo Kazooie - Grunty's Revenge
Minish Cap - small, but totally full of 2D Zelda charm. I probably prefer this to Link to the Past (Links Awakening is my fave, btw)
Golden Sun - IMO one of the best RPGs going. It's uncomplicated, beautiful visuals and music and quite a long game too.
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow - same reasons as Golden Sun. The whole game is a lot more confusing than its simplified DS sequel.
Pokemon - friggin ossom.
Street Fighter Alpha 3. No explaining required.
Sure theres more. loads more. The GBA is probably my fave game platform.
Ive not played any GBA games for ages and i didn't play most of mine that much anyway.
Mariokart ss, (awesome)
Golden sun (didn't like much, good music though)
Sonic advance (very much like the megadrive games = great!)
Zelda minish cap (love it especially the music but got stuck and gave up)
yoshi's island (loved what i played, but got to some boring dungeon and stopped)
wow apparently that's all i have. so i can't comment on other games.
although i do have 2 100 in 1 carts that are basically shit nes emulators, not worth it. One has mario 3 on though and it's almost playable if the graphics weren't corrupt.
I didn't play my GBA half as much as my GBC due to the crappy screen. I'm now a happy owner of a DS. Cilla is even happier cause she's playing it more than I am
- Ok, you must admit that was the most creative cussing this site have ever seen -
Final Fantasy VI is due for a release (possibly already out where-ever you are) and is deffinatly a must buy for the GBA. It has hours of gaming and a very good story + lots of additional features.
I'd also suggest: Tales of Phantasia, Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga, Riviera: The Promised Land, Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 1 and 2, and Megaman & Bass.
Haha knew this would happen-
Metroid Fusion is great, linear but great. Zero Mission is almost perfect, one of the only games I've played through twice.
I was quite keen on the iso Tony Hawk games...
Fire Emblem.
Some NES Classics (Metroid, Zelda, Mario) are quite good.
OMG YES. I adore Final Fantasy tatics Advance. I got really hooked on it before christmas, it was a ritual to play it for half an hour in bed before I slept
Bamse, because it's a game about a swedish marxist bear. It's an old school gameboy game though, so it's no go on gameboy advance micro and DS (officially that is).

I also love Advance Warse- there once was a site for playing advance wars online i think but i couldnt figure out how that works. i would love to play advance wars online via emulator. is that somehow possible?
Megaman Zero (the whole series)
Golden Sun 1 & 2
Metroid Fusion (Liked it)
Castlevania Circle of the Moon
Advanced Wars
Mario & Luigi
Minish Cap
DragonBall Advanced Adventure (actually one of the most decent GBA games out there, very fun)
Tales of Phantasia is fantastic. SNES version has a slightly different style of battle graphics and nicer colors, and much better-sounding music, but the gameplay in the GBA version feels more accessible and there's more to do. I enjoyed the plot and certainly don't understand why it's rated for all ages with the village and prison portions intact. The prison scene still creeps me out a bit, to be honest.
