After knowing a Chinese person for sometime, i found the true scret to making noodles. 1) Put them in a pan with water, and boil until about 1/2 cooked, i.e. soft and you can see stuff on the water. 2) Drain this off (its horrible) 3) add some water but not as much 4) heat until boiling again, 5) add egg, fish sticks, and lettuce or something 6) add the flavoring guff 7) Cook until as much water has evaporated as desired and the egg is cooked! bung em in a bowel Welll thats how the chinese make instant noodles n/a

I'm not winding you up dude they use these type of things: http://chowtimes.com/photos/feb2006/_MG_2676_edited-1.jpg try one, they are quite nice, they usually have 2 packs of flavoring stuff in them packs, ones like lard with spice, and the other is a bag of herbs and dried veg. Have to go to chinese supermarket though to get them n/a

If you go to a store with more variety, you may find some instant noodles that are based on chinese ones with eggs in it. I have eaten just about everything chinese food wise now - even Chicken Feet , chinese dumplings are nice with the correct sauce, and the glutinous rice things with pork/bean curd are nice too. Chinese snacks are usually gorgeous too. Ones like a stick of sugar puffs stuck togethor - but actually nice, but the one i like best is made from peanuts. Its like blocks of ground up peanuts with cane sugar. I'm learning chinese too, its a seriously hard language. n/a
