I didn't recognise many of the first video, but the second video had lots in. I guess they're done by Americans, so unless you had Cartoon Network then you wouldn't see that many.
It's surprising how many 60s/70s cartoons from the US they showed on CBBC. Scooby Doo, Flintstones, Jetsons, Wacky Races, Hong Kong Phooey, Squiddly Diddly, the Hair Bear Bunch - I think they must have had a tiny budget or something, because I remember hardly any of the 80s ones. They're probably being shown now on CBBC, there must be a 20 year buffer.
i have to admit i really hoped to get to see captain planet in one of those. "haha love ISNT an element- we just let you play along because we thought it was funny"
Chocolate Man's website is AWFUL. I love how the light changes on his face all the time. Why didnt they snap the pictures at the same setting with the same light? its like they cut it out of different pictures he has taken through out his life- but than maybe thats exactly what they did. http://www.freshegg.com/ sucks
You just brought a crazy feeling of nostalgia by mentioning Fun House. I really wanted to be a contestant on that show but I only got in the audience once or twice.
Wow, Duck Tails, Chip and Daile, Inspector gadget, teenage mutant ninja turtle, why don't we make cartoons like these anymore, all the new ones are so serious and barely anything explodes anymore
Haha, thanks for posting that. I love my NES and everything, but nothing sparks nostalgia like old cartoon intros!
I remembered all of the words to the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, Tiny Toons and Animaniacs intros. I'm amazed that this crap is still taking up space in my brain.. :/
I hated Captain Planet i thought it was lame back then...
Real Ghostbusters, Inspector Gadget, TMNT & Garfield was my personal favourites
I remember Super Mario Bros Cartoon, Video Master (whatever it was called where he got sucked into the TV), Duck tails, Tailspin, Heathcliffe & Marmaduke too.
And when Power Rangers came out in the early 90s i was like wth is this crud, i want ghostbusters - i was so annoyed it took RGB's TV slot.
