There used to be a trick in the Search function they showed you how popular a word is in the staff forums.
For example:
You search for Phizzy:
Phizzy- 832 Results (87 hidden) (Means there are 87 posts in the staff forum about Phizzy)
LIJI - 329 Results (13 hidden)
Ban - 1097 results (893 hidden)
But now they evilly removed it. -_-

Why not give Phizzy a probation account. He's allowed to upload and post in forums but is not allowed to mail. Every user would also have a button that makes his comments visible or invisible (since not everyone is offended by what he says).
I realize that I'm asking for hours of work, reprogramming the site just for Phizzy
Yes, well, if you don't need Phizzy, you don't need me. Hence, I'm actually sitting on a game or two for the time being. I might upload them to other sites, however.

or, you could just disable him from posting in forums, but allow access to the rest of the site. As it stands, the people who get all uppity-offended by phizzy are lame forum-crawlers, who for the most part don't submit anything worthwhile to the community.

Ok so you're trying to threaten us by not submitting your games to the site? Seriously, that's a new low. The only person really losing out there, is you. If you don't want people to play your games then why make them?

Flash sucks until you get good at it. And that can take time! Whereas with MMF2 you can get a twisted sense of pleasure out of rubbish games from the day you start.
Phizzy is banned for a reason, now stop crying about it and realized he did enough bad thing to be banned and nothing can change it. Phizzy is banned forever and most of us finally agree it's a good thing. He has done too much troubles even his supporters agreed that he should be banned. Just realize this fact and forget about him, he hasn't done too big contributes to the community anyway.
On the other topics:
Xbox is Windows XP + DirectX9 in a box.
Xbox 360 is Windows Vista + DirectX10 in a box.
You can convert Xbox game to Windows EXE.
Also both include BSODs and Xbox 360 lacks of backward compatibility (Like Vista!) and over heats.
Flash was created original for MOVIES and it's good for MOVIES.
One guy once started making games with it causing Adobe to support game making with flash more causing a lame "Game making" tool that was meant to make movies.
Xbox 360 isn't DirectX 10. It's been the main criticism for Crysis on the 360 or PS3. They can emulate and try to get DX10 effects on DX9 but it's something PC guys will always have over consoles.

You should buy games for it. Galaxy is out in 2 weeks, Prime 3 is possibly the best first person-anything game on a console. Brawl is out in early 2008 and shaping up to the GoF.
In all my years here, the click community never really reached this low. It used to be people like Tigerworks, helping out noobies and posting great examples of various applications of obscure technologies that we could use in games. It used to be Novabrain, lording over the little people, showing us whats to come in future versions of MMF (and MMF itself, back then). Nowadays, those who actually help out the community like that, are simply removed because a whole bunch of forum trolls and /b/tards that invaded don't like them.
If thats how TDC is going to be, I'm not going to be a part of it. I'll be releasing my games on other indie-gaming websites from now on.
Simply put, I don't think Phizzy should be banned. Nor do I think any of you should be banned. I think that everyone that has stuff to contribute to the community should be allowed to. If Phizzy's a dick, live with it. When I joined TDC, and mind that was on the first or second day, it was all about allowing ANYONE to submit downloads. Anything was accepted. Today, its all elitism. People complain that theres no new downloads, yet they shun noobs, and ban the rest.
Phizzy was banned for breaking too much rules.
He had a second chance (also third and fourth and fifth...) because he contributed to the community a lot accord to what some people say, but he used them all and now he's banned for ever.
Why people can't understand the simple logic of You break to rules -> You get a warning; You get 3 warnings -> You get banned?

There should be no reason to permanently ban anyone on the forums unless they are just invading to post giant lemonparty redirects or pictures of feces. Which has happened more then once. And those people deserve to be banned for life. The people that are just here to attack TDC. Those that are here to contribute should be welcomed. God knows, as you've said, that too many people get too many misunderstandings, and banning people off the boot is a great way to shy away all the newcomers to the community.
We have an abnormally high lurker-to-poster ratio, partly because everyone acts as stuckup as they had a rod up their butt. There are alot of people new to klik, and even more people who use it, but don't post here, or such. And we are just scaring those people away when we act like some elitist community. We aren't a group of top-tier programmers debating our next projects. We're all on equal footing here, and we need as many newcomers as possible, be they mini-Phizzys, or mini-LIJIs.
