Wasn't keen on this. It's like they threw as many original series references in there to show that they're back.
And if you didn't see the twist the first moment it was introduced then you suck or something.
I think the epsodes that they show in England, over, and over again aren't anywhere near some of the better American ones...!
I think any episode with words like 'piss' etc (that is a swear word in England and not USA) aren't shown... and that's what makes the Simpsons suck for us, I think.
I've seen some episodes recently of the Simpsons which actually made me laugh
As Adam said, Futurama has it's moments... having been produced by the same people... but, I dunno, I think they try too hard sometimes.
I think Simpsons has had more bad moments that Futurama, percentage wise...but remember that episode where Branigan blows up DOOP headquarters with the laser? The "jokes" in that episode made me want to drive a screwdriver directly into my frontal lobe.
I'm beamish.

I'm so proud of this thread, 206666 is the best number I've ever heard...
I completely forgot about Zap brannigan until he made an appearance.
Maybe the show is better suited to a series rather than a feature length thing. I felt it was a little lacking somewhere. It's hard to say where exactly.
