Hey, I love Futurama. There are a lot of not-funny jokes in there, but it's just plain fun to watch.
Disclaimer: Any sarcasm in my posts will not be mentioned as that would ruin the purpose. It is assumed that the reader is intelligent enough to tell the difference between what is sarcasm and what is not.
i'm a huge fan of Futurama and prefer it over the simpsons. I love the jokes in there, specially all the programmer jokes and such.
I'm definately getting the movie, and if it doesn't become available here in Denmark soon i'll just have to order it from the US (right now, all we have here is US imports that are expensive and it's cheaper to import it yourself).
It was entertaining enough to support the feature length, but I still don't think it was worked-through well enough. All that emotional investment in the Lars subplot with no real catharsis, just "that's right, that's the twist! Goodnight!"
Laughed most at the lovingly nurtured but completely throwaway Charles de Gaulle/Scott Walker connection.
