What are the best quotes you can think of? Quote songs or movies or books or anything or anybody you feel like quoting.
I want to quote The Kinks because I love them and I think their lyrics are brilliant:
Yes, people often change.
Sort of stupid, I know better ones. These are the only four that come to mind at the moment, and I care not to think for more.
To deny our own impulses is to deny the very thing that makes us human.
Ignorance is Bliss.
I reject your reality and substitute my own.
If it's worth doing, it's worth over doing.
I know the last two are from Myth Busters, but I don't know who originally wrote the first two, I just heard them in The Matrix and liked em.
I've never agreed with that Mythbusters one. Isn't reality what they're proving, and that they're dispelling myths? Isn't reality singular, constant and therefore prone to be disputed? Meh. Just a quote I suppose.

In reality, I don't think anything on Myth Busters is at all meant to be taken scientifically. It's an amusing show, and while watching it you more then less likely will pick up quite a few interesting facts you didn't know. But to throw yourself off a cliff because Myth Busters bust a myth saying you wont get hurt, it's a tad silly. I personally love the show, but common sense is a must.
Btw, I'm not saying that their busted or confirmed myths are bogus. For the most part, their myths seem to hold enough water that if they were in fact scientifically tested, the result would be similar. What I'm saying is, Myth Busters runs myths in a manner that says "If you think of everything possible to make this myth work, and none of the above seem to work, then it's busted." Which again is not bad, but it's not always reliable. Even they admit this themselves. Great show never the less though.
BrandonC: Hey, I like Mythbusters, scientifically. There were some people in MIT who tested out some of the myths (and probably never watched Mythbusters); the results were pretty much the same.
I have a text file full of quotes. I'll toss one here every few days. Here's two quotes in light of my country's recent election:
"It has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all the others that have been tried"
- Churchill
"Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything."
- Stalin

All I can think of is: Remember Mamorou victory goes to THE ONES WITH COURAGE!, Give me your name and I shall give you mine, Bro is dead. He is no longer here. However, on my back and within my heart he continues to live on. Drilling a hole to pierce the heavens. WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AM! I am me Simon the Driller! Hissatsu! GIGA... DRILL... BREAKER, AND Remember this well. This drill rips holes in the Universe. That hole will become a path for those that follow us. The wishes of the defeated and the hope of everyone who follows, with those two thoughts, with 20 spirals weaved in, we'll carve the path to tomorrow! That is Tengen Toppa! That is Gurren Lagann! My drill is the drill that will pierce the heavens!
The first one being from gaogaigar, second being from tales of symphonia and the last ones from Gurren lagann.(I love that show)
