I don't really understand why people get so excited by nintendo games. They're usually just franchise rehashes with updated graphics (or without updated graphics now we have the Wii). What's different about Mario Kart Wii compared to the Gamecube version(s)? The Wii Wheel? Most previews have said it's the worst available control option. 4-player online play? Why bother?
Normalcy is not a word. The word you were looking for was 'normality'. The word 'normalcy' was made up by one of your silly American Presidents, and then people in America tried to cover it up by telling people it was in a dictionary from the 19th century. Now Americans all go around saying it because it would be unpatriotic to think that a PRESIDENT could make up a word.
Ergh, I hate it when stupid people call me stupid.
Haha, the Wikipedia entry for Normalcy references an online dictionary to prove it's a real word.
Please no fighting on my thread. It's not something Im used to.
Also, there's every point in getting excited about Mario Kart wii, with the online features, motorbikes and tracks, don't be so ignorant and do your research before coming to such conclusions, plz.

Don't call me ignorant, Adam. You probably know a lot less about the game than me.
Motorbikes are cosmetic only, I don't see why that would make you SUPER EXCITED.
The online mode has lots of lag and no voice chat to protect ten year-olds.
Half of the tracks (16/32) are just ported from previous games.
words are added to dictionaries all the time (although this word is almost 200 years old =/ ). the fact remains that is a legitimate word. where do you think words come from? they have to be made first. language is constantly changing. don't be so naive. and also lets not go off topic.

1920 wasn't 200 years ago. The fact remains that it's not a word.
1857. thats 151 years ago. theres a debate on the coinage of the word by harding, which has long been done away with, and apparently you're on the other side of that debate. just cause YOU think its not a word, doesn't mean it isn't? why are you arguing this? the evidence is there. youre being as adam said, quite ignorant. on both these topics. wheres YOUR evidence? simply saying "a president made it up" doesn't cut it. sure he used it but there's more to it than that. stop this foolisheness.
NOW GETTING BACK ON TOPIC
the only reason stopping me from getting this game is i don't play console games much and i don't own a wii. and i have more important things to spend my money on, like school, food, gas, bills, and computer software/hardware etc.
I hate voice chat. I was once playing Dead or Alive 4 online and a 10-year-old was constantly swearing and saying other things that I think someone of that age shouldn't even know about. What if my child had been in the room? Not pleased.
I must disagre with your statement about Nintendo just rehashing old classics though, Rando. If theres one thing they do, it's the opposite of that. Same with Sonic the Hadgehog, unfortunatly. I wish Nintendo would remake Mario World or Mario Bros 3. THOSE were good games. Yeah Nintendo games are still good but their newer ideas don't seem quite as good. Ninty always seem reluctant to make a game similar to any other they've done once before. I also hate how Sonic lives with human beings in a city and can now talk.
This is all coming from a hardcore Nintendo fanboy, too.
Tell 'em Babs is 'ere...

If you hate voice chat, that's fine, it's always optional when it's there. But a lot of people like voice chat. They don't have the option to turn it on when it's not there.
And Cecil, I'm being really ignorant about Mario Kart? The stuff I said was true. Prove me wrong.
In 1857, normalcy didn't mean normality. It was a word used to describe the length of twine.
Right! Explained to an American that normalcy isn't a word, that's my good deed for the day! See you guys soon!
