Was very warm here, so I did some gardening and varnished the swing seat And tommorow Im gonna go buy some palms That's right, Palm trees can actually grow in the UK
Ours nearly died but my mum and I sanded it and varnished it today /cool . We also bought a cheapish bench (althought it's not bad quality ) from Homebase, and placed that on a concrete platform with flowers all around.
Slink: it's my eden getaway ;_; lol although what you find impressive about a cheap bench on a concrete platform, I dont know . My mum just ordered air conditioning units . Fans just spread the warm air around
In Malaysia (at least around KL), it's often close to 92 degrees F (that's around 33 C right?). I actually keep cool by wearing a sweater when I go outside.. outside temperature is higher than my body heat.
But man, we can really feel the climate change. It used to hover around 31-32, seems to have gone up about 2 degrees Celsius this year alone. And after an ultra-hot day, it doesn't just rain. It POURS! Waterfall-like. It's rare to see the average Malaysian give a damn about the environment but seeing all the sudden flash floods and first recorded tsunami, earthquake, and tornado in centuries, people are actually bothering to care a little.

Yes, I think we're seeing climate change in the UK too, in the summer the weather seems a lot more unpredictable nowadays. In 2006 the summer was really hot for the UK, then last year it rained for most of the summer, bad floods and high winds. This year has been slightly better so far some rain, but also just as many warm days for me.
My parents were gonna move to America but my mum couldn't leave her massive family behind, stupid woman Also I purchased a phoenix palm and a date palm And some ornamental grasses
Edit: Also, to be honest, although I love hot weather, and would like to move to a warm country one day, I don't think id like it all year round. I like to have a more extreme contrast between the seasons. So a hot summer and a cold winter and autumn and spring in between.
It's scorching here. Extra muggy too. And I have to get up early every day to paint a house. What a fun summer job. I love winter ten times more than summer. You can put on a hoodie in winter, but going shirtless in summer is nasty and doesn't even help.
The tempurature here goes from cold enough for 2 jumpers when I to no jumpers an hour later to short shorts and t-shirt in the arvo. Can't say it's boring at least.

That's because you have no tolerance for the cold - I wear jeans all year
I wish it was this (20-25 C) temperature in the Summer - I haaaaate being hot . We also don't get much variation really - it's hot in the Spring and Autumn, Warm in the Winter and Hot in the Summer.
Also, you could argue that Seasons are time periods rather than to do with facing the sun I guess but technically we do in fact have the opposite season to the Northern Hemisphere.
I wear shorts and t-shirt all year round, but if I'm going out in winter ill put jeans on so I don't stand out But Ill happily go out in the garden in shorts in the winter
