My cats, they live at my dads place but come visit every day as my dad is also my neighbour these days.
Bert, 13 years old, recently got one blind eye but he doesn't seem to care.
Flip, 16 years old. Used to be diabetic but lost weight and is off the insulin now.
They are half-brothers and used to have another brother (Sam) who died of cat-aids in 2004. He was a great cat.

we had Fanny back when we were young, haven't had any dog for a while now, and I'm actually planning to go get a puppy within the next few weeks! I haven't completely decided yet, but a black lab is my #1 right now, what do you guys that have one think of them? Nice around old people?

Chocolate labs are awesome. We've had two of them and they have cute personalities.. they tend to be clumsier, so walk into walls and things when excited, which is cute if it happens We used to have a black lab, she was lovely but she was a regular happy dog, wagged her tail, was loyal etc, she didn't have as much personality, as much as I hate to say it.

I have no idea. Looks pretty normal to me... Maybe snake eyes isn't so far away from cat eyes as for looks?
Now that's camera flash...

I hate poodles. Nasty vicious dogs, known for their bad, snappy tempers- and that's all sizes too.

It's not a dream pet. My neighbors domesticated an injured squirrel and nursed it back to health. Then the squirle ate my Christmas lights (several times).

Ehhhh?!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poodle#Temperament
"Poodles are extremely people-oriented dogs and generally eager to please."
"Historically, their aptitude has made them ideal for performing in circuses across the globe for centuries"
Our poodle cross was very friendly, so much so she used to think nasty dogs were good ones and got bit
Now my grans shih-tzu cross can get very snappy --.-- but fun. Never tries to hurt you just likes to fight.

Ive know several people with poodles, most of them have had problems. My mum's cousin had a miniature poodle that was vicious for unknown reasons (Now she has a miniature schnauzer and it's awesome). A girl at my school had a large sized poodle which had to be shut in the kitchen every time someone visited their house, otherwise it jumped up at people and snapped.
