First time around in Halo 3, was playing with a friend of mine. The closest I came was chills and goosebumps... but tears are usually reserved for movies. I've yet to see a good tear jerking game. The Myst series would have had some potential in that field, but unfortunately a lot of it was too corny to get emotional over. (Except when reading the books by yourself... but that's not really a game.)

I think that gave me the record of standing still the longest in a sonic game.:/
heh, i used to just jump on it and get enough momentum on it to pass.
Yeah I used to hate that sodding part. When I was young and played through Sonic 3 a lot, I used to always get stuck for ages on that bit, only managing to get through when I eventually managed to time jumping up and down to make the thing drop down enough to get through the gap. It wasn't til playing Sonic 3 a couple of years ago that I found out you can just press up and down in time with the bobbing and it's a piece of piss, drops in about 5 seconds! I could've saved a lot of anger in my childhood if I figured that out back then.
Behind the Lines expansion for operation Flashpoint. I didn't think it was possible to make such DULL missions for OFP then to SELL them. I thought it was an official expansion...
Call of Juarez might have made me accidentally cry at the end, just because I didn't expect a game to include such a great (if cliched) story. And a level which includes shooting rabbits. And the ultimate bad ass old man who needs to be saved by the person he's been trying to kill all the way through the game!
In fact, I'm going to have to review this game some more because it left such a mark on me.
Don't aim for perfection- you'll miss the deadline
