After playing so many crappy proffesionally released games I had an inexplicable urge to mess with click products again.
Anyone remember me? Is phizzy, or smeg still around?
Also, if a mod happens to pop in this thread, what are the chances of restoring my orginal account ( http://www.create-games.com/profile.asp?id=3959 ) my hotmail on it is long dead, but I wanna strut with an 02' badge.
(I want to make a platformer rpg with mild equipment and levelling depth, but extravagant over the top skills and spells, with a mouse controlled aim system.)
With a cliche fantasy medieval atmosphere intended.
I can still do some decent pixel art, and a platformer engine script never leaves your mind. Anyone intrigued and want to put heads together?
As do I remember your games, classics.
What happened to Jon (smegsoft)? I remember him not being able to continue using MMF due to some kind of bad term that is extremely vague to me now.
Hes got all the ideals I was intending (except after so much WoW I never want to play another game with crafting again).
The art style I couldn't adapt to. My sprites are moreso in the castlevania style, I refute black line borders, gothic, wiccen style creatures, etc.
I'm gonna sort through backups to see if I have some old stuff, otherwise I'll whip up a mock of what I want to do.
Why do people come "back" after "leaving" and still have no content to show one way or another. Were you ever truly here? Or did you just talk aimlessly in boards.

MMmm thanks for the ever so slightly malicious post.
I worked on a couple platform engines, got somewhere with a team in a sonic engine, was working on level tiles. Then like most teams, drama and lack of commitment crumbled the group.
I attempted a ninja-themed adventure platformer awhile ago, got about 50% through before an inexplicable ini bug caused save files to corrupt after being overwritten.
I actually broke a monitor after that, so much time invested and then an unexplainable bug ruining my work.
Albeit the project proved too ambitious for a single person, it was temporary pride on the line.

Reading that was a genuine laugh out loud moment for me.

I never intended to sound rude. I was just trying to mention a trend I've seen happening often. It was nothing personal.

So, to be here, you have to make things? Talking aimlessly in boards is still being here.

What's wrong with the old one? Can't you just log in? I could change the password if you forgot it.

I forgot it, and the email addressed to it has long expired. If you could so kindly email the change to brippentalls@gmail.com I would most appreciate.
Rikus has no problem with Phizzy making a new account and was actually trying to sort out getting his stuff moved to his new account when someone stealth deleted him.
Hopefully it's all sorted out now. Good ol' Rikus
Saying Fuck does not warrant an instant deletion. He got a warning for that anyway. I mailed a few Admins who don't know why or who deleted his new account. So i would say it was a stealth deletion.
But i guess you can't really send someone a DCmail letting them know why they're deleted.

What are you, his secretary? Phizzy is a big boy now, I'm sure he can contact admins himself if he wishes

As much as it pains me to say this, while many of his posts may have been rather aggrevating and perhaps childish those posts were part of TDC - you must realize that the more resistant you are to his posts the more he's going to repeatedly join. Just try letting him rejoin, and don't ban him for a while; if he exhibits "traditional phizzy behaviour" temporarily tolerate it as a small test.
That was, notably, a slightly edited copypasta from another forum with minor words changed.

Ugh, do you know how many times he's done that? I've probably asked the admins not to ban him about 4 times already a few years back, then I just thought "fuck it", ban him for a month. And he comes back and 2 weeks later he STILL does the same thing. And we banned him and unbanned him again, and he STILL does it. Now he's at the point where some admins think that weapons of mass destruction should be launched on him on sight. If he would just stop being a jerk, there'd be no reason to ban him. But as soon as he comes on here, he starts flaming Adam, apparently posted something in the Digital Works section, and within half an hour after he appeared, a few alerts popped up about how he should be dealt with.
Besides, he said that he's leaving TDC anyway, so just let him leave.
I quite like him, still keep many of his tutorials, learned stuff from him, and he's also a DC donator, but that doesn't mean that he has the right to act the way he does. His name has become synonymous with how people shouldn't act. Even if there were no rules, he'd still get banned for acting like he did.

Well, the idea was that he'd hopefully halt some of this ridiculous behavior; given his record though I've lost faith in that possibility too.
