Hmm don't know about running MMF2 itself, but the guy working with me on my current project is able to run stand-alone MMF2 apps (as long as they're not built with HWA).

Looks like someone managed to experiment and got HWA builds to run perfectly, but only HWA.

well a fellow by the name keaton (possibly keatontech?) on winehq reports that it installs and runs on SUSE 10.1 under wine 0.9.17 but thats the only feedback for mmf2.
i know ive gotten tgf1 to work under wine and i know apps run. i know a few if not more run linux here, has anyone tried to actually install and run mmf2?
its no big deal if i cant get it to work. id just love to break free of windows, and ive already gotten so many alternatives or things running on wine. id love to not have to dual boot or run a virtual machine just to use my mmf.

*Stubborn Windows and TGF user.* (Though I have tried MMF2 and Linux. The former doesn't have any features that I myself really need, and the latter is just way overrated. )
