Well, if you want a game compo now, there's an ongoing one at http://dev.mominis.com/ with some sweet prizes. Only catch is that you have to make it using their development software. Their software doesn't seem to be bad, let's you make mobile phone games.
The one in 3 months would let you enter with a MMF game, or whatever tool you want, just as long as it's not a mod

And OMC, the reason I posted this was so you guys wouldn't put up any compos soon unless it'll finish within 3 months. Even then I wouldn't really recommend it either, there's also the tiny chance that Fusion2Developers might want to put up another 20 event contest, seeing how much attention the previous competition got Do it in July or August or so.

Hmm... well I wasn't planning on making the compo three months long. People probably wouldn't bother with mine since I have no prizes yet, so I'll just hold off I guess. Even though it's called the Winter Compo '08. (It'll be a new tradition. I'll hold the winter compo in the spring or summer of next year. )

Uh, is it okay if I host a competition that will last exactly one year and begin on March 20th? My last one sucked but this one will be the amazingest!
Yikes lots of compos guys, let the spring compo run its course before doing another one, you dont want to be running 2 or 3 compos at the same time in the same community.

Yes, what real Rikus said. These competitions are fun, but they make the entrants and the judges tired, and nobody's gonna enter 2 competitions at once. If you make one at the same time as someone else, people will usually join the one with more prizes.

Yea, I know. I've had this compo planned for half a year now. Then as soon as I was about to hold it, (waiting for a spot when not many compos were going on and the Tourey was winding down) the Spring Compo at GB popped up and Jambert's and now the other sites'. I'll just wait until I have prizes.
