Out of curiosity what video out cable did you get?

SCART only i'm afraid, but it does look bloody good anyway! Saturday will be my big session day for it i think!

Well, unlike pretty much every other console made which come with 3 RCA cables + a scart adapter, the DC came with a real RGB SCART cable. RGB cables give a big improvement in sharpness and color quality over composite cable.

The Gamecube (Pal version at least) supported full RGB Scart too. Yet didn't support s-video .

Pretty much all video game systems since the SNES has supported RGB SCART. But most systems delivered with Composite video cables (or RF cables) while you had to buy the RGB cable separately.
