After working for years with different engines, I wanted to give MMF2 a shot. I have this certain mfa file from someone which I wanted to test. So I installed MMF2 standard, and loaded the file. Stumbling upon the following error:
"This application requires the following extensions: String Parser (parser.mfx)"
I searched for this specific extensions, and presumably found it here: http://ext.neatwares.ath.cx/search/parser/. When I wanted to install the parser, I got the next error:
"MMF2 Extension Pack #1 has not been totally installed because of the following reason: Multimedia Fusion 2 is not installed, please install it before running this program"
.
I would swear I installed the demo not 10 minutes ago. Searching for help online only gave me links to warez monkeys who have the same problem. So, what should I do?
If you install the demo of MMF2, you need to make sure you uninstall it before you reinstall MMF2 Standard. Unless you're referring to the demo of MMF2 Standard. Can you install extensions onto the demo of MMF2? I know the bonus packs don't work, but I'm not sure about extensions in general.
Eh, lacking the possibility to test extensions with the demo is a little bit sad, as I'd like to know how well one can create extensions with it.
Are there grave differences between MMF2 and MMF2 Developer when we talk about extension creation? Or is it only for extensive selling copyrights and options?
The extensions that are MMF2 Developer only, are people who got with Clickteam and decided to affiliate their extension with them. When you're making extensions, you're making your own stuff, that just happens to work with MMF2. Theres no reason why there should be a difference between which version you bought or are making them for.
