Just installed the latest build 249 for MMF2, after I got the installation disk back from a friend who was borrowing it. Checked the post on the clickteam forums about what's been changed/fixed/added and it seems everything is going well; can't really complain about anything.
I was just wondering what everyone else who installed it thinks of it so far. Is there anything new that you can't get used to or is there something you think they've missed out etc? I'm just happy because I no longer have to comment my events with descriptions for all my qualifiers
"I'm just happy because I no longer have to comment my events with descriptions for all my qualifiers"
I don't like the new qualifiers because:
1. we still can't rename them
2. they are not in any logical order (at least the trash cans were numbered)
3. anyone who is working on a project that has a lot of qualifiers now has a bunch of objects with qualifier names that don't represent what they do and worse yet their original numbered names are gone, making it very confusing.
are you kidding? its relevant because software sharing and/or piracy is zero tolerance. that aside was completely unnecessary information that had nothing to do with his question and could potentially get him in trouble, if it is not clarified. i gave him an opportunity, instead of reporting it.
you commenting on my comment is what is irrelevant.
not to mention he could just READ the topics already in existant about what people think, since the topics the updates were released in have about 50 pages of combined responses.
:S Sorry I caused this arguement... I really should have worded that more carefully: At the time I lent the disks to my friend, he already had a version of MMF2 installed on his computer that he'd purchased. He'd merely lost his 'bonus' disk with the sounds, musics and graphics etc on it and wanted to copy the contents of that disk into his folder; I gave him my MMF2 disk case which happened to have the installation disk inside it as well. He had the installation disk but to my knowledge he didn't use it at all, not even for a coaster Hope that clears me up!
Anyway I had a look at the responses on clickteam's forum but I still wanted to know what you guys think.

I took that a few years back. They make excellent coasters.

Blashemy! Treat the MMF CD with respect! It's not some Construct CD you can use as a footstool!
Disclaimer: Any sarcasm in my posts will not be mentioned as that would ruin the purpose. It is assumed that the reader is intelligent enough to tell the difference between what is sarcasm and what is not.
I think the accepted ratio for footstools is roughly 7/24ths of your height. You'd basically have to be 5 CDs tall to make use of it. And at 5 CDs tall... Well you know the old saying, "it's not the size that matters, it's how you use it?" At that stature, you better be able to use it pretty damn well.
