Youre the second one I tell this today but we have a downloads section for downloads, thats why it's called downloads you can put your stuff there NOT on the boards. Youre pushing all the good topics from list with this.
this is what I get pissed off about to start with!! I was just stating what had been said and done. Guy submits game and its not good enough to be accepted and there are some TERRIBLE games that did get accepted. Then guy proceeds to post it on the boards Now do I want to read about a game that was not good enough to be accepted to a list of mediocre games? So I speak my mind and people go "submitting junk on boards is fine carl " "your an asshole carl" I cant stand such a cocky atitude.

We can't either. Pipe down and don't act like you're the king of the forums. It's rude to say someone's early games are bad, and you don't decide who gets to share their games and who doesn't.
Well first of all the admins already did that by not accepting his game and secondly I made the KlikCast logo so I have at least a bit of a say here...but I will STFU and be nice...but just to not get banned and stuff.

I will not comment on why the download was not accepted since I was not part of the decision. As long as you are nice I don't care what the reason is.
I liked this game and want to write a review about it in the reviews section.... but since it's not a download i can't and won't bother here. However i will say this; i liked the premise of this game (helicopter saves princess from falling construction vehicles, flying sperm, the army and a giant rat - classical "once upon a time" stuff!) and i liked the fact it actually requires skill to play it! The controls are what i consider perfect, i.e. they take some learning but can be grasped in just a few goes. This means the game feels as though you've not played any/many games like it before and that it's original, which is a big plus-point. The graphics, though crude looking, fit the game and it's premise perfectly and the game is complimented by some fantastically original sound effects - especially the vocal helicopter rotar noise!
At the end of the game (which takes a few goes to do, thanks to that pesky rat keeping guard) you're treated to an equally bizarre ending screen where the helicopter just spins really fast and the rotar sound effect has a "pitch-orgasm", then you're treated to some bad spelling which, ironically fits the whole game beautifully.
Yes, the game is short. However it's called the 1 Minute Game so you won't feel cheated. It takes just a few seconds to download (subject to internet provider!) and plays wonderfully. Some more experienced coders should take note to this because it delivers exactly what it says on the tin and plays better than it looks, no bad thing to those of us who enjoy gameplay over graphics. I hope Trevor keeps on making these kinds of games and i wish him all the luck in the future.
The thing is Carl generally speaking on TDC it matters not if you have a valid point, you will be totally ignored if you show any sign whatsoever of negativity.
The usual course of action when trying to make a point is to apologise 5 times at the start of your post, throw in a couple dozen smilies and leave out and caps and exclamation marks.
An ASCII kirby can't hurt either.
failing to adhere to any of the above will result in a flamewar and ultimately the locking of a thread or your posts being deleted. If you're unlucky you'll pick up a few warnings too.
