I bet Trevor wasn't expecting all this over his game! The only good thing i can think that's come from the fighting on this thread is that it's thrusted Trevor's fair effort even further into the lime-light. Which, considering it's an early effort from a new klicker, is nothing but a good thing!
I'm thinking that I just got it to finish downloading, after trying so many times.
Anyways, I like the alternating Z/X thing, it's more unique that just holding a button or using the eight direction movement. I found it hard to control though, with the tilting and all. I never actually one, but there's potential here.
Now let's think about this folks. If this had been an engine that someone had posted here for input on (as has been done before) would you have reacted the same? Where should he go for input if he can't have a download page? Just saying.
Yes to OMC and Jon Lambert. That's the whole reason it got fiery, unless we are narrow-minded elitist assholes, everyone deserves to get input on their work. If it's not accepted as a download, and he's not allowed to show people the game, how the hell will he know what IS acceptable as a download? Everybody deserves to have their game looked at and constructively discussed so they can improve. I guess it's been said enough.
I don't understad how 10-second game got accepted but 1-minute game didn't.... but i won't lose any sleep over it! I guess it could have been decisions made by different admins or something.
