A small task that can be done in a couple of seconds. It's like making a machine to chew my food for me.
Some people do like small tasks being made more simple and easier - if you don't like it then you can just pretend it isn't there
Surely the pending download thing would just be handy for admins to know if they've missed any games, all the user will do is send a pm or complain like usual anyway.
The feature was suggested because 2 downloads have been sitting in line without having the necessary reparations made to be accepted. Since the users apparently have forgotten to check to see whether they were approved or why they were not, this will remind them to look to see what needs changed.
The updates counter should now work - though only for your favourite projects at the moment. When a project has been updated you can click the link in your sidebar and you will be shown a list of your favourite projects that has been updated since you last visited them. Hope you like it, and if there are any bugs feel free to post them here.
The updates counter under the favourites area will track updates to your favourite projects and downloads.
In the next few days there will be an updates counter under the downloads area which will track new comments and reviews which have been submitted to your downloads.
Maybe we could set up some kind of option that allows people to hide stuff? This side bar could be getting a tad long for some people on lower resolutions. It's fine for me at 1440x900 but some people haven't accepted the glory of high definition yet.
The new comments counter is now functional and will show any new comments added to your downloads - just click the links to see which downloads have new comments or which downloads are still pending. Like before, please do report any bugs you find

I think maybe I'm the only one who knows how to use that favourite button sometimes.
Maybe there should be big bright blinking arrows all around it pointing to it and when the mouse scrolls over them it could play a voice saying "click this button if you like this download/project".
Blood of the Ancient One, Seen only as Shadow, Faster than Lightning, Fierce as the Greatest Dragon, Nearly Invisible, Floating in a Dream, Entered through the Demon Door, Destroyer of Evil in a Realm with a Red Sky Scarred, Who could I be ?
