Looks nice! From what I can see the walking animation looks good but I would like to see it in motion before I can really tell. Here's a link to a free online GIF maker if you need one. http://gifmake.com/

I feel the leaf thing on her head is too big. For example, look at this picture of Gardevoir:

Then Again, maybe I'm just seeing things. It's still pretty good. I didn't even realize Gardevoir had legs.

It looks good! But the shading is incomplete on the bottom row. I'm sure you knew that though.

Yeah, they have legs. It's just rarely shown. And leaf things? Is that her hair? Her "cheek spikes"?

And yes, OldmanClayton, I just wanted an opinion on it before I keep going.

I like alot, the animation seems smooth and the sprites are constructed very well. Only thing I would say is to use more pastel colours because the hair seems way to bright.

Nevertheless I'm digging it.

Thank you so much! When I'm done with all the poses, I'll come back with the new picture for more criticism!

Cheers!

Oh, BTW, if anyone wants to use this, they can. Enjoy!

That is awesome! What move? To tell the truth, her hands seem a bit too big here.

Too big? Hmm...Maybe it is...

I'll see what I can do...

Oh, that move is her shooting basic psychic bullets.

Projectile is coming from behind the bottom right corner of her hand, a rather awkward place for someone to focus and create energy from, it seems.

No, constructive criticism never hurt anyone. The way people take constructive criticism is what's done some damage.

Although, what's constructive and what's not constructive might be a little up in the air...

Improvement in energy projectiles position, but it still looks wrong because we can see her whole hand and her hand is not affected at all by the energy. Therefore creating the illusion that the hand is in front of the energy projectile. If we saw her hand side on (straight up, only seeing a thumb and one/two fingers and relatively no palm), this would be acceptable for a viewer. However, because of the way the hand is positioned, we need to see that it comes from the center of her palm, not behind/the side of her hand.

Good work, keep going.

Your sprites are pretty good, although I think you've been a bit happy with pillow shading, especially on the dress in your last sprite you posted -- have a look at your running sprites, they have much more interesting shading on the dress.
All your colours either have maximum saturation or none at all, a little more range in saturation would be great.
If you look at the colours in the sprite not a taco posted, you'll see much nicer variety in colours, even the gray/white cloth type thing has colour in it.
More experimenation with hue would definetly help.

The direction of her hand is awkward. The palm is faced towards the viewer, but the fire is coming from the right side of her hand.

Make the palm of the hand face the direction of the fireball.

Just do it yourself, and you'll see how awkward it is.

Kind of like that. Couldnt find a better picture, but meh

Ok, I've eliminated the pillow shading on the dress and fixed the shots.

you have a lot of issues with banding and pillow shading still, but I dunno.

you had some interesting dress shading in the run animation, maybe something like that but i'm no expert on shading etc.

I've never, NEVER been good at shading. You don't know how many time I hear the word "pillow."

And what is "Banding"?

Here. I took the advice from you and did as much as I could. I hope this is better...

better, although not to sound too much nitpicky, it looks like the thumb is in the wrong place, it should be visible from the viewers perspective.

it's like the right hand hand is in the left hand's place.

It is obvious to me that you have the talent needed to animate, but I would only be impressed if you'd come up with your own caracter design.

About this animation, pretty much everything looks good . I particulary like the right arm movement. Only thing wich bothers me is the hairs behind her neck wich moves unaturaly (too quick).

That's a pretty simple animation, so I hope to see something more complex, such as the running animation when it's complete. Keep up the good work.

The shot has improved greatly, good work.

As mentioned earlier, there is still an issue with pillow-shading. I suggest Googling up some pixel art tutorials to get a better grounding.
