I was doing some spring cleaning and when i was done, I had loads of empty shelves in my closet. So I decided to put all my entertainment in there.

More space is always awesome.
I moved my little mini entertainment center out of my room some time back for that very reason. Went to the basement, then another room, then the basement again. It's not hooked up at the moment.
Got a video input USB thing if I need to play dreamcast on my monitor in a pinch though.
Ricky, do you use a keyboard and mouse or gamepad? Could always get a long VGA cable.

I don't have a hope in hell of finding room for all of my stuff.
Also why is the North American SNES design so ugly?

It may be ugly but at least it plays games at the proper frame rate

I didn't even realise there was a SNES that looked like that! I'm used to the PAL ones. For the framerate, are you talking about PAL vs NTSC? (25/29.97 FPS) ?

With a classic controller with wiimote dangling from the end of it because Nintendo was too cheap to give the CC its own RF transmitter No thanks...

It's a good thing they came out with a second:
This is what mine looks like. I also prefer the controller modeled after the Japanese/European one. It has convex buttons and a convex back and it's more colorful.
This:
Versus this weird thing:
I know people who prefer the feel of this one though, so I guess it wasn't all bad.

I have some spare SNESes, still looking for a yankee SNES for Mario RPG and Kirby's dreamland 3. I have Mario RPG on Wii but that just doesn't do it.
I do think the Jap/Eur SNES looks a lot better than the USA one, I guess the "right framerate" depends on how you look at it.

A lot of the games were designed in Japan and over in Japan, they use NTSC.

Actually I do think it looks just fine and I really have to get one. I just never got WHY it had to have a different design. Was it because the original design didn't look like the NES?

I think the US SNES looks more like the Famicom than the NES.

Lol, I didn't know that you could still play those things. Sure don't make 'em like they used to.

Nice. Just need to clean up the wires. Of course I can't really talk, I keep meaning to put a backboard on my game shelf to keep the wires hidden behind.
