I never bother shaving now, my face feels really sore and itchy whenever I do it, so I just let the hair grow and cut it with scissors if it gets too long. Mine too has got that slightly pube-esque look, and it's also a bit ginger, but it's either that or redface for days on end.
I generally use an electric razor cos I'm lazy, but I look a hell of a lot younger clean shaven. I prefer to look like the near-27 year old that I am. I haven't shaved for 3 days now and already am very "whiskery".
Also I want to grow a proper beard but my partner insists I'm clean-shaven as much as possible... she doesn't like kissing a coconut apparently.
Beards are also beneficial if you're hungry and need a snack. I've delved into mine in the past and found bits of biscuit and crisps that are a couple of days old
It's entirely possible to cut yourself if you have dark hair like me and want to be completely clean shaven, Softly softly just isn't enough.
There isn't much point in being totally clean shaven in my case anyway. Give it 3 hours or so and i get noticable stubble appear...
I don't know how i cut during a shave, though i suppose if i did it after a shower, i.e. after my skin has had a good soak and is more suptle and cleaner, as well as the stubble being soaked and easier to cut through, then maybe i wouldn't bleed. Also, because i am so god damn hard i don't use proper shaving soaps and gels when shaving, i use good old water and a bar of soap.
Just to be clear though, they are more knicks than gashes in my face/neck and i'm not losing pints of blood each time. I'm sure this is the same for the other "bleeders"
Hahaha, not sure this is the site to talking about that on!
However, i do always shave this little section above my right knee. I can't remember why i ever did it the first time, it's only about 15mm x 35mm but ever since i did (must have been years and years ago) every girlfriend i've had has seen it and said "why the hell do you do that?", to which i reply "it just doesn't grow there!"
I guess it's just another random quirk that helps add to the (little) appeal i have!
my job "requires" me to be clean shaven, but im kinda in charge, and MY boss doesnt give a crap. so i beard it up. i keep it nice though, and trim it everyday. moustaches are gross though.
