The old thread is old so instead of bumping it Ive created a new one.
Ive bought loads of stuff since the last thread but most recently I got this!
An Amstrad GX4000.
And for anyone that had seen how infamous the machine is on the internets I can tell you from my own personal experience the games are actually pretty good fun but extremely difficult! Especially Robocop 2 where if you make a mistake you WILL be punished. Not always by death, sometimes by falling down to a previous part of the level...
The tennis game is good but ive not quite mastered how to hit the ball where i want it to go, Batman is excellent but has jerky scrolling and you can't shoot whilst ducking which is a pain. The cart at the front (Burnin' Rubber) is another tough one and a bit slow too.
Well it's not really true retro but I bought Dragon Quest 9 for the DS awhile ago and I've been playing it for several months. Nothing's really changed with the franchise overall (a good thing). I love it, a great timesink.

DXF Games, coming next: Hasslevania 2- This Space for Rent!
All I have is a photo of a Atari Joystick I brought for 6 pounds including p&p off ebay, the bottom part which sits on the switches was glued together . First time i have had a bad experience with ebay mind, and at least it was only 6 quid...
Bought 4 new games yesterday for 4 different consoles
Ive been looking for Newzealand Story revolution for ages and i'm not disappointed. It's brilliant!
Got me an N64 last month..anything before that seems a bit TOO retro for me. Which is why I think it's too bad most clickers seem to make SNES styled games instead of something more modern.

You can't make anything more modern than SNES games with click software
- Ok, you must admit that was the most creative cussing this site have ever seen -

Well, it would seem you don't actually own a Klik program, or else you wouldn't be hopping that. Sure, MMF2 can do 3D with the Open GL extension, but it's pretty complicated and hard to learn. As for your comment about the N64, I love the console, but don't REALLY consider it retro. And what's wrong with the SNES? I think most gamers would prefer SNES and NES to N64, but maybe that's just me.
If you put a million monkeys at a million keyboards, one of them will eventually write a Java program.
The rest of them will write Perl programs.
