That looks good, monkeytherat. Maybe it would be better to intercalate the "good"/"bad" attributes, so as to make for more complex personalities.

Jon, it became clear it was certainly a waste of my time to explain my position--seeing your reply. Alas.

Edit: As a quick note, Heidegger is not an existentialist, nor is any of the greeks. Good to know you took courses on them; that didn't seem to help.

And what exactly does this mean? "it was certainly a waste of time" and "that didn't seem to help" are to imply what?

I'm sorry if I'm being so terribly cryptic. Believe me, since beginning, I've had quite the opposite intent.

By the first inquiry, it would seem to be clear that not one line of information got through to you: your comment was very frugal, in other words. You asked me to clarify, I did, and you replied with, basically, "yeah, I've read this all beforehand". I can't find the words to be clearer.

By the second, it is patent that this--what you've read and seen in school beforehand-- you forgot or didn't learn to begin with.

Fortunate is the case where someone can personally elaborate on what they mean. I hope you didn't ask the same of the greeks or the germans; dead they have been for a while and it would come off as no surprise this misapprehension. This was a last reply.

I asked you to clarify, if you remember, to make sure that you knew what you were talking about. I did not say that I had read all of that beforehand, I only mentioned some philosophers. Heidegger and Kierkegaard I am not familiar with. I read what you said and understood what you said. Would you have preferred that I had said "ah of course I am learning so much from you" given that such is not the case? Do not assume that you know what I think o what of your words I have read or understood because you very obviously do not, if you are going to make accusations against me such as those that you have brought to the table.

I began my interaction with you solely to have you give monkeytherat a clearer idea then "use a polygon instead of a bar". Now we have come to this. Also, you continually brought in new material which while interesting was not what I had prepared for when asking you to clarify as often as I did.

So as for the part about my not retaining what I learned, you have no evidence to make such a claim. From what you said it seems like you thought I was claiming that the Greek philosophers you cited were existentialists, which I know better than. Camus, Sartre, Beckett, these are existentialists. My sentence on having learned of existentialism in class was not connected to the preslvious sentence concerning the philosophers I was familiar with. I should have thought that statements of hat I was familiar with could have helped you to understand where I was coming from and hence what exactly might be more or less out of my reach, but apparently you took it as some sort of arrogant or self-centered comment, which was not the intention.

Through much consideration, I have decided to go with the simple meters, as this is my first big project that I am doing alone. Maybe after this is done, I will make a sequel with the more complex thing, but for now I will go with the simpler method.

If you put a million monkeys at a million keyboards, one of them will eventually write a Java program.
The rest of them will write Perl programs.
