I'm not much of a gamer (I know!) but when I do game, it tends to be Diablo II, Worms II, Nethack, or Tetris.

Oh Man, I could go on forever and keep naming. Given the fact that I should be into the "newer" Generation games because of my young age. I much rather prefer the 80's & 90's game era games. my favorites include:

Sonic the Hedgehog 1,2 & 3 - Beat all three of them, still have each on emulator
Super Mario Bros. - THe Original NES one.
Kingdom Hearts 1 - Loved this game
Street Fighter 2 - So many memories!
Pokemon Red-Crystal - The oldies were infact the best
The Legend of Zelda- A Link to the Past
and Dragon Ball Z series - Mostly on the SNES.
Mario Kart 64 - A Family favorite!

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Super Metroid, Castlevania SOTN or Zelda OOT. I was expecting, however, for nobody to mention Xenogears

PC:
Master of Orion 1 or 2
System Shock 2 (Aged much better than Deus Ex did)

SNES:
Killer Instinct

I'm sure there are others, but I lack time to play many games now a days!

MULE, Life Force, Uncharted Waters, and AD&D Pool of Radiance on the NES.

And any version of Tempest.

Also, Dungeon Crawl: Stone Soup.
