I really hope not, cause there are not that many MMF2 based communities out there, which is a shame, cause MMF2 is a great program with a lot of potential that is sadly overshadowed by the likes of Game Maker and Unity.
If it weren't for this site and its very helpful community, I would probably never have gotten anywhere with the program on my own.
Thanks to them, I feel more confident in my game making skills. 
If this site is to go dark, then what's next?

The site is in the same state it's been for about 8 years. Many people have left the site or moved on to other hobbies and there's a core group of 20(?) people here keeping things going.

I'm quite happy to hear that.
Unfortunately it seems not that many projects are being released these days...that's probably why I feel the site seems a little empty these days.
But then again, as long as there are still people around to help out fellow Game devs and share their creations, I'm fine with it.

I come to this site every other day or so. Mostly while I'm at work so I don't have as much time to play the games uploaded on here.

Well i am happy to join the community but why is my game not listed in the download-section.
I am not getting any comments about fixing something but it also doesn't show up on the list...
Who is responsible  ?
I am pretty big mmf fanboy for over 10 Years... sad i didn't find this site earlier
