MMF3 isn't going to be 3D based. Jamagic 2 is our last hope.
The site suffers from low levels of activity because of Clickteam. Why would anyone pay to make a 2D game when there are virtual-reality capable engines that are completely free if you don't plan on selling games?

Because those engines require coding, and we use MMF to avoid that the same as always!

I think enough people still have fun with Click products. I think TDC would come back to life with about 2 new active admins. No use submitting your games when it takes weeks for them to be accepted.

Can't believe people are still talking here, and that i'm still visiting the site for reasons unknown. I've dabbled in the art of kliking since i was 10, went on for a while till 20, studied computer science in college and now i'm close to 30 and managing my own indie game studio. I OWE THIS COMMUNITY FOR MY EXISTENCE.

Heya, we sure do! We are located at http://deltaduckstudios.com/ and is now about a year in development on Monster Chronicles (https://www.facebook.com/monchron/), a minature turn-based strategy RPG of sorts. Details are scarce at the moment but we'll update soon!

I sent rikus a request to be an admin since I'm here like every day, but he hasn't replied. Most likely because he's never on.

I kind of feel like this site could do with some way of more quickly getting posts on the homepage... Like maybe anyone can write them, but they need to be approved by admins, and also, have way more admins...

I'm still trying to do my bit to keep the site (sort of) alive...
I've just submitted a new article:
http://create-games.com/article.asp?id=2300
It's another article a bit like the one I wrote on life & death in games (ie. theory-based rather than describing a practical technique), but this time focuses on multifunctionality, and how it can improve your game.

Stuff like that article is why i'm still here. All the members that went inactive. I don't think they realize just how much help a article can be. Better than a new game on the front page. If you ask me.

Still no reply from rikus, either from his email or his facebook.
I guess he's off the grid.
Nice article Sketchy. At least the pictures were nice. I don't have time to read it right now though since I'm currently working on a game project with Clayton, but I'll give it a look tomorrow at work.
