I've joined the site back in 2018, and I've been having a wonderful time being a part of this community, and knowing that there's still love for anything Klik that isn't just FNaF. lol
Hi W3R3W00F, I hope you had a happy accountiversary. Long time, no see. Hopefully you can stick around and enjoy the new generation of Click developers and the games they've been working on
I just played too of your games. Overkill was very fun. Krazy Kitty Killer is the sort of game I'd probably have thought was fun due to its edginess when I was a kid, but isn't my cup of tea these days. I tried playing Desktop Wars but the link is broken.
Do you still have a copy of Desktop Wars, or indeed do you happen to have a cache of old Klik games to contribute to Kliktopia.org?
I sometimes lurk this place from time to time. I don't think anyone remembers me given I was more of a lurker than one of the more essential members such as Chris Street etc.
I was indeed a very cringeworthy teenager back in the days and posted a lot of content that make me pinch myself when I look back at them.
I was cringeworthy as a teen too... hopefully I've grown out of it. TDC is where we all grow up together .
I don't remember you from back in the day eliris, but funnily enough this Halloween I added Halloween Gear Solid [Flash] and Horror Land by to Kliktopia so it could be listed at https://kliktopia.org/halloween.html
Do you still have the Forbidden Mansion (Illusion Mansion)? That Halloween game of yours is one I don't have?
I joined TDC when it was first established... something like 21 years ago I think? I joined the game making community even before that - I think I was about 16 or 17.
Apologies for the late replies! Forgot I wrote this... gosh, coming back here makes me want to try my hand and games again... oh, for a spell of time.
@Joshtek: long time no see indeed! Great to see you're still here.
Yeah, Overkill was about the only halfway decent game I ever managed to make, and that's a generous statement; Krazy Kitty Killer, which I now realize 14 years too late has the absolute worst possible acronym ever, was just a stupid, sadistic, immature game that simply wasn't even fun.
I might have a copy of Desktop wars somewhere, but it was really nothing impressive enough to be worth saving in an archive. Would be happy to oblige if I can find it over the Christmas break and get it to you, but it's by no means great! Just let me know, please, and again, great to see you!
@Chris Street: Oof. I joined when I was 14, almost 30 now. But, all the same, great to see you again!
Yeah... Just came back as every few years, in 3 months it will be 10 years since my first time there. I'm 30 now, I feel old too. Time flies I should do more things.

Yeah, social media has a lot to answer for. Plus various instant messaging services going offline which made it harder to chat with your old communities. But TDC is still here .
Oh, and your avatar was legendary so I restored it. The goose is back!
Greetings old and new peeps! ^^
I don't remember when I first joined TDC, I had a different account at first( oni, oni77 or something).
But indeed I am older!
Turning 40 this year.
I have so many amazing memories from this place! All the dreams, discussions, friends and flamers alike!
Two of my fondest memories are the Halloween compos and the amazing Tourey 08 that Peblo held, recently played through my entries from all compos, what nostalgia!
I'm still making games but have - like many old klikkers - changed engine. Been working in Unity mostly but considering switching to Godot. I also intend on dusting off Fusion2.5 to play around with some old stuff.^^
Cheers!

And yes, the compos have always been a highlight for TDC. So much creativity!
BTW, for those who manage to still have have archives of old Klik games I'd ask that you check to see if we have them on Kliktopia at https://kliktopia.org/Authors.html and if not you can upload them using my Python-based upload tool available at https://kliktopia.org/Kliktopia-Uploader.html - the ideal format is to name the folder the game name with the author name in brackets and inside the folder put a screenshot.png file which is a screenshot from the first level of the game, but any contributions are welcome.
