Whatever happened to Wong Chung Bang reviewing everything?
He used to review every new game and he was made 'DC- Review Staff'. But I never see him reviewing any more. Has he left the community, or can't he be bothered?
Maybe he got shot for giving shit games good reviews, he gave a complete newbie game a 8 out of 10. It deserved like a 2, it was Pizza Speedy serva or something
That's what power does to people. As soon as he got the 'DC-Review Staff' rating, he probably got lazy just as soon as he realised that he wouldn't get much from reviewing everything. Back when he was just a normal little guy, every review got him DC points. No offense, WCB.
Look at what happened to Circy and Shen. Circy used to put literally every game with a screenshot on the front page. Back then, everyone started complaining on why bad games made the front page just coz it had a screenshot. Look at things now. Rikus, who 'quit the community' decided to come back, have fun, and is doing all the work those two should be doing. And what happened to TomH? Circy might be a bit busy for now... but Shen's still around...

Nah, i saw wong chung bang today! I think he's got lazy, but no wonder, there's like 3 new games a day and thats 4500 characters a day. But i suppose he gets paid for it. Does he?

That's my point. He used to get paid with DC points and fame and stuff. Now he's got nothing to gain from reviewing every single game out there. He's just... the guy who reviews stuff, or at least used to. I still don't blame him though.

Muz... I'm here! Though the first weeks of the vacation i'm more busy then my examn week :S Working hard becouse I diddn't have no money and stuff.. I guess I'll be able to update normally in about 3 days.. Did I miss any important news I can still update?
Hey, I am here, just my parents keep sending me on holiday for a week, and now I'm on a summer camp where I can't download anything. I do update, I'm just more picky with the amount of description/screenshots (medium-length and at least 2 should suffice)

he hasn't even replied to this post so I imagine he's gone orf somewhere. Maybe he realised click is meaningless to interviewers and decided to get some qualifications or maybe he became ruler of his own island (Wongia).
Actually thinking about it, that's not likely to happen (but cool nevertheless).
Point is, WCB did get a bottomless pit of DC points and he should still do at least one review a day. Yeah, I know that the admins don't have all the time in the world, but hey, they're still admins. If they ain't doing their job, they should get demoted.

We don't really need more admins. I think the DC uses some 'replacement technique' by getting rid of the lazy ones and replacing em with um... the guys Mike likes. The quantity's still the same. Though seeing how the amount of activity in the DC has really inceased, maybe the DC does need new admins. I'm still wondering whether some admins around right now really deserve to be there...

I think thats the problem with klik and the comunity one minute your thinking wow Ive got a great idea for a game or wow im an admin lets go raise some hell and the next minute its actually I need to shave, change my clothes get off the PC and see the outside world a bit more.
people change as they grow older and have more priorities people.
The reason that I don't review much any more is simple - I'm at home for summer with an astoundingly slow 56k Freeserve Hometime connection, so I'm pretty much incapable of downloading and reviewing anything reasonably sized on a regular basis at the moment.
The 22nd of September is the date when I get back to University and a fast connection - that's when I'll start with the reviews again, hopefully even as frequently as I did when I first started. In the meantime, sorry about leaving you all.
Also, the exams a while ago took up a lot of my time, unlike the ones last Christmas (that's why I did 4 reviews a day back then - I had more than enough time).
Of course, you're right that I've got less to gain by writing now, but I won't let that stop me.
