Hey guys sup?? I have two questions, probably dumb ones.
1. I can't figure out how to decrease the volume of the music + samples via the event editor. I would like to change the bmg level at certain points.

2. I know mmf can, but can your have music continue thru levels in tgf? If it requires a special object or something like that, I'd appreciate a "dumbed down" explaination of it. (Sorry if that came off rude!) I'm not very good with those objects/plugins.
Thanks alot guys

1. Use DMC2, or any other music playing extension.

2. Get MMF.

1 & 2 The DMC object

MMF can't play music over frames, that's DMC too

Yes, I have the DMC object (now you have to pay $20 for it from that guy!) I have like no idea what to do with it though.

You bought it? Anyway, it is an extension that plays music, first you have to load a sample/stream. A sample can have many channels and a stream can't so it is used for Bgm. Then you play the sample/stream. Btw don't forget to intialize and terminate bass at the start/end of application.

I'd use the Volume Control and the MCI object. They probably take more work to get functioning correctly than the DMC, since that is more specific AFAIK, but it doesnt require a third party extension.

it seems like you have something against 3rd party extensions, i don't see why...?

I prefer to use the built-in extensions, since you know they're tried and tested... among other reasons.
