Yo. I played some game some dude posted here with jamagc and it looked pretty cool. I was wondering if anyone knows anyhting about jamagic. Is it hard to use? I remeber hearing something like it uses some strange coding thing. That's not cool! I like the simplicity of tgf! Pleez say it's easy to use!

it's dead easy but still uses "strange coding thing"
which is more commonly referred to as JamaScript, very similar to javascript
but its too buggy.. at least the 3d, and the 2d is way to slow to do anything kewl with (and also a lil buggy)

It isnt buggy, I've created quite a few things with it (2D and 3D).
I've already uploaded 1 tutorial, I suggest downloading that and having a read through.
The second one, thanks for reminding me, should be uploaded tonight.

if clickteam made a 3D authorating tool that had the interface of MMF; i'd buy it in a shot. shame they haven't.

its buggy, sooner or later you'll find problems that can't be fixed (i've had 3 or 4 of those and they all happened in my big, nice projects)

With any scripting language... You have bugs and such... BUt they could always be done different ways or something to rid of those bugs... right?

Shadow: I'm not saying u didnt do loads of stuff with jamagic.. and I agree its powerful.. cuz u get ur hands on the stuff if u know what I mean.. like, u have control of what's going on. But, I found several freaking bugs.. and other stuff that aren't bugs but are still annoying.
I like blitz 3D better, and I currently recomend it over jamagic. if jamagic one day got all its stuff fixed, and if it had also had bone animation, I would rate it with a score high above blitzbasic 3Ds.

I've programmed many things with it, and I've never had any problems. And that's not to say I havent created anything advanced.
If you posted what problems you were having we may be able to suggest work arounds... or at the very least send them into clickteam so they know to fix it.
