Every now and then I see previews of games saying: It has 10 diffrent weapons HUGH bosses! yada yada and so on. Then why not add a screen shot i ask. Why not wait to post a preview untill you´r like 90% done and feel that you will finish this game and have something to actualy show us? Even the most crappy game almost finished impresses me more than: It has 10 diffrent weapons HUGH bosses... I´m quite confused, is it just me? http://www.geocities.com/monkyjungle

Except for the newbies who post crappy previews in the first place. Hey, maybe that could be an idea for a new poll: Who thinks screenshots in previews should be mandatory?
Kramy Registered 08/06/2002 Points 1888	2nd September, 2003 at 12:13:46 - I think screenshots should not be manditory, since I can't upload anything to this site!(Points to no avatar, no games uploaded, and no previews) I can't upload to my ISP either, or the other computer connected to my router. Actually, the only upload program that works is EasyUpload at geocities. Heck, even windows FTP doesn't work...and I could list loads of other FTP programs that don't work. I live with it though, since the problem has always been there. Kramy

I've noticed that FTP programs, telnet, etc. don't work. Why? Because the password box never works! In telnet, windows FTP, etc. it asks for a password, and I can't type anything. Then, after a timer expires it moves on to an error message. The same thing happens in every other FTP program I've tried. Any ideas? Kramy
ShadowCaster Possibly Insane Registered 02/01/2002 Points 2203	3rd September, 2003 at 05:10:37 - If you have XP, just use the built-in FTP client (Start -> My Network Places -> Add a Network Place). If you dont have XP try using the Command Prompt client (Start -> Run -> Command) then type "ftp" then on the next line "open" then follow the prompts. You can type "?" to see a list of commands. If the person has a few screen shots, then it'll have a good chance of being finished. The rule of thumb is- don't bother adding a preview or a downlaod unles you can get some screen shots up.
