A while back I asked if anyone wanted to see the pictures that I made of what a TGF that edits 3D games might look like.
Well, only one person was interested so I wasn't really motivated to finish them, but now maybe since theres new members to The Daily Click, people might like to see them. They're finished!

The screenshots are well made, but the interface looks horribly confusing... it's going to be difficult to make a GF-style 3D editor.

Why not MMF?, because the mmf interface stinks and thats why in MMF2 they are moving away from that GUI (People cant say its good now).
4 viewports are needed as fishhead said, and you should be able to minnimize and maximize each viewport.
Snap to grid would be needed as well as user definable grid sizes.
Plus a texture manager, cant have non textured gourad shading can we

'thats why in MMF2 they are moving away from that GUI'
That's why they're not, just making it one window at a time. TGF interface is unusable for me

Sorry it's a bit too bright for me. a bryce-ish 'sleek grey' would be nicer

Definately agree there Kris. Nothing suits a 3D editing package more than a dull grey background, it seems strange... But it's true... To name a few examples (one's I'm trying to use just now) Medal Of Hono(u)r editor, Unreal tournament editor, Genesis 3D, forgot other one.
Ah well no point debating when it's not true!
oh yeah other one is Truespace (crap IMO).
