Some games last 10 hours of straight playing.. thats 1 day of crazy playin

Some games I've played for around 150 hours.. and they've costed the same.. maybe even less, but the gameplay is really cool.

Eg: Megal Gear Solid 2: Sons of liberty. -Awesome game.. loads of speaking lots of things goes on. Last 10 hours

Jagged Aliance 2- Awesome game, bad graphics though, but I must say.. I really played this game out.. for a shit load of time.

Now, what do you crazy asses dudes..man.. you guys are really crazy.. but back to my question, what do you guys think a klik game should last? around.. 20 mins? I believe 20 mins is about enough.

I think a good klik game should last for at least an hour.

Factor X and Destruction Carnival, two of my favorite Klik games, can be beaten in well under an hour. I don't think it matters so much how long it takes to beat it, but rather for how long it remains fun. I still go back to those games for a few quick minutes of fun on a regular basis.

Nope, I'm still discussing...

At least a half hour for a freeware game is good. For a game bought for $20+ I'd say at least 12 hours.

Well Lost Valley is about 40 hours...
Click games are different because they're very specific. Stick Matrix was short as hell but I think it had plenty of replay value and all I was trying to do was make one thing very well. Where as the platformer I'm working on (Jonny Storm) is going to be an awfull lot longer. I think if you're advertising something as a full single player game it should probably last at least an hour, but otherwise so long as you make it clear what you're giving (like Planet Wars Demo, which kindly tells you it'll be 20 Mins -and they're damn good mins) anything goes.

Why the hell am I on the computer at 1 in the morning? No, don't answer.

Yes he's right anything goes but how would you like to have a game with a perfect engine and everything but only 10-20 minutes atleast make it a good 50-60.

You did this the first time you played it? If you did, wow.
I think a couple hours for a click game is pretty good.

RapidFish, no I wasn't able to beat them the first time thru in under an hour each, I'm just saying that they can be beaten that quickly. It actually took me a couple weeks each to finish them.
