I thought everyone forgot about C&C. It's weaker than MMF and uglier than TGF.
The MMF interface is HORRIBLE. Like Visual Basic's old interface. It's obvious. Took me two days to get used to it. Then I realised I could change it. Move windows here, resize that, change the toolbar. If you bother with it for a couple of weeks, MMF's not that ugly.
Of course, MMF's animation editor is impossible to work with, despite what Shen insists. Some people just love their precious MMF so much they go into denial. Even IF you don't work with the picture editor, you'll still have to click a whole lot in the animation editor just to past something in it. You could do the same thing in KNP/TGF with just one click.
I used to draw all my libraries in KNP (never had TGF), then import them into MMF before I realised that both used completely different palettes, then went to some trouble to import KNP's palette into MMF.
Point is... CT should go back to the good old interfaces, instead of bothering with something worse just to make it look 'professional'.

TGF is just too simplistic, un-customisable and MMF is still expanding with new extensions all the time. TGF just plain isn't as good as MMF. So there.

people who say tgf is crap and mmf1.5 rules only say that cuz they
were never able to do a decent game "It was because tgf is buggy, now I have mmf 1.5 so now I will create a good game!" Those people will say "It was because mmf 1.5 was buggy, now I have mmf2.0 so now I will create a great game" when mmf2.0 comes out. They will never create a cool game, and only spend a fortune on CT products, they are all pissing in the wind.
I do know what MMF is about, I have been using the mmf demo for a long time now, it was supposed to stop working after 30 days but it didn't.
I CAN afford MMF tho. There is just no reason for me to buy it, MMF is like a woman with 9 holes in it.
I use CNC. It's basically the same app as the latest version of TGF PRO. Same great interface. I have been kliking since 94, and I've tried to get into MMF several times but I just keep coming back to CNC. It's mainly because of the stupid sprite editor! You can't do more than in TGF, it's the same sprite editor, only much more stupid!
Its hard to be religious when certain people are never incinerated by bolts of lightning.
