TGF is useful for making simpler games. However, for much complex games, MMF can be very useful and do many things TGF can't do. Of course the windows are annoying. Suggestion for MMF 2: get rid of cascading windows. Make new editors appear in the same window like in TGF.
Personally I like in TGF how I need only my right hand for most
spriting. (Except Ctrl-C and stuff)
The Image editor in MMF is more able but weaker.
TGFs is compressed and sturdier.

If I were clickteam I would shoot for a more TGF and
less professional interface with the same power.
TGF's is a little too bare though.

what snerlin said. TGF is good for making simple games. That's it. I lost interest in stupidity because of the 250 object limit. Sometimes objects wouldn't be created.
Also, i sometimes needed more alterable values. But if you make simple games, there is absolutely no problem. You don't need 10 000 objects, with 1 alt value is enough, you do everything very fast.
and about the picture editors, isn't it easier to draw stuff in paint or other cool graphics program and then paste it in MMF/TGF?
