Guys, I've been around this place a while, and believe me it aint dying. It was always this crap. Imagine an old guy in a hospital bed for 10 years, or a zombie continuing to roam the earth for no apparant reason. THAT'S what this community is like. I'm only here because I'm too lazy to find anywhere else to be, and I create a game once in a while, and the only criteria for TDC is that the file is openable, as opposed to other sites with much higher standards.

Copy this to your hard drive. It will be worth alot when I'm famous.

Notice: Spelling mistakes above left in for people who need to correct others to make their life fulfilled.

Bad analogy Chambers... Zombies are cool.

Show me the power child,
I'd like to say,
That I'm down on my knees today,
Gives me the butterflies,
Gives me away,
'Til I'm up on my feet again,
I'm feeling outshined.

Hmmmm I seriously just think it's a forum thing more than anything...particularly this one.

Nothing wrong with the worldwide Klik community. Seriously think about how much it has advanced over the past couple of years with all of the new extensions and what not for MMF. I mean, there is great potential for great creations, and people should not be ignoring it.

I think if anything, the internet and community itself is tainting the ability of Klikers. I say thing because I think my mind and creative ability was best had when I had never gone near the internet... or women, or pot, or alcohol, but as they're to blame

It's kinda discouraging the people I reckon when they read "YOU GAME SUCKS MONKEY BALLS" from forum people over the other side of the globe rather than what I was use to, ie mates saying "Oh man do have that game we playing the other day on your computer that you made. I have the best idea for it..."
I think on that note I should mention that some of the best motivation you can get to work on your game, or feel proud of it is from the broader community, ie, friends and family.
I don't think people should listen to the fuckwits who have nothing better to do than slag your game, or you personally, without giving serious constructive critism. And this is one reason why the community may feel like it's breaking down...and that's because of people who just mouth off at what ever they want.

Looking back on the past 10 years of my Klikin career I realise I enjoy the old days. The old days when me and a couple of mates made games with KNP together. The old days when the internet was something of a mystery. The old days where i'd actually make a game that I could play 4 player with my mates and it'd be great fun. I liked it when 256 colours, default platform movement, library graphics and spelling errors were all you needed to make a game that was actually playable and enjoyable.
The thing is people over look these games. It's the little things. I pulled out some of my old KNP and TGF games from 7 or 8 years ago. I end up playing one of them for 3 hours without even realising it. Sure, the game would get fucked over here by critics, but I enjoyed it. And I think if people realised that Kliking is a hobby where the most important person to satisfy is yourself, then I think maybe then we'll see less people being scared away by harsh critisism.

That's what I think anyway...

Dines: If you think most of the retards and idiots flock here, work as a nurse in a hospital.
A pregnant teenager came in because after she ate her share
of salad, a grasshopper jumped in and she thought it might
hurt the baby. Her insurance had to pay $1000 to send the
ambulence to bring her to the hospital to get told it wasn't
something that could hurt anyone.

Muggus: I remember when little TGF platform movement non-scrolling games that
I made myself were so much fun because I made them.
I made this game with a stupid plot and simple gameplay where all you have to
do is shoot bunnies. This has been my most successful game yet. #5 or #6
I just might have to release to the community when they are done.
PS: They are the goriest games. Mindless Slaughter is their name.
PPS: Pop by the Island Muggus! ww.clickisland.com

Muz: The Click Community is not dying. Only TDC is dying. I remember when TDC was
much younger and there were many fewer idiots running loose and SC was very active.
Those were the good old days. Still, other sites can save the community, and even
TDC can hold on a little while longer.

Ashman: You never fail to amuse me. You go a little over the top with the sexual thing:
Lets see, it was something like this:
"I love it when I'm recieving that sweet oral pleasure, but I hate it when I look down
and realize its Jon Smeby."
Otherwise, when you aren't posting "I like it on all fours" on the front page, you may
be the funniest member of the click community. Still, you wouldn't be Ashman without
the sick sexual remarks you make.

Tigs: Very true. Where do people get the idea the click community is dying?

-Above post is ancient and probably irrelevant-

An old account of mine, recently cleared out. It's a blast to the past, the age was marked as 14 when I found it. If you know where to look, you can track me. Au revoir.
