Who is better, who would win, and why?

I think John Kerry, I'll followup on this.

the stupidest one, whoever that is. americans always seem to vote for the stupider candidate, and even if they don't, the stupider candidate will win because the electoral system is ridiculously screwed up.

May the best liar win!

Bush is messed up, so I'd vote for Kerry if I was at legal voting age.

See, I used to think the Electoral system was real bad and stuff. But heres the thing about that. In all the history of America, only twice have electoral voters voted against popular vote.

So, I don't really think it's too screwy. Although, it did screw us out of a good president last election, didn't it?

John Kerry is better. See, what people have to realize is that the war is that Pres. Bush said the war in Iraq was started because of Imminent threat of WMD's. None were found, thus far.

If he had waited, played along with the U.N. and done his homework other countries wouldn't be so pissed at the U.S., and a more international force would be in Iraq.

The Iraqi people deserved to be freed from Saddam Hussien, but that raises some questions. If Pres. Bush is now stating that a main reason for the war was to free those people from Saddam Hussein, then why aren't we in other countries like that? There are countries far worse then Iraq. Syria, Libya, North Korea, and elsewhere. Why aren't we freeing those people, perhaps cause they don't have oil in there country?

Another thing thats bothersome is the fact that I don't feel any safer. Not at all. Here's why. In Spain, there was that terrorist attack in which those trains were blown up. People can just walk onto trains and do that kind of thing. Why doesn't the U.S. build up some fences around are power plants, or maybe some technology that can detect bombs. Those bombs on those trains were set off using cell phones. Overall, I just want more security here on the home front. Thats where it needs to start, and thats where it hasn't started. Since 9/11 the firefighters still haven't gotten some new walkie talkies and equipment that would've saved lives on 9/11.

I don't know about you, but I'm more afraid of the KKK then Al Queda. They planned to blow up a powerplant in Texas, that was foiled. Take a look at http://www.impiousdigest.com for more info on that.

Why Iraq? Simply coz it's the easiest target. Not only has it been crippled by years of economic sanctions, but they're also hoping that the people would rise up against Saddam after some propaganda. You see, the main reason why US attacked before they got the results from the UN was partly to surprise attack and partly because they feared the UN wouldn't find anything. The US needs a base in the middle east if they're to go on with their plan to colonize third world countries. Of course, their heavy propaganda against/to the Iraqi people is obviously eroding.

Heck, judging from what's been happening throughout the world, I very strongly doubt that al-Qaeda would do all that. Al-Qaeda simply doesn't have the resources to do half the things they claim to do. And of course, if you question a 2nd-class terrorist group, they'll say that they belong to al-Qaeda. They denied the 9/11 incident at first, but after the 'freedom fighter' reputation they got later on, they openly admitted to it. And I think that it's very suspicious that the CIA just found a video tape of them planning it. If I was a terrorist, I wouldn't even video tape a discussion unless I wanted people to find it. Well, I've got logs on my attempts to take over DALnet, but if I actually intended to do so, I'd have deleted and formatted my hard drive.

This 'war against terrorism' is just a hoax for the public and you've made it clearer right there. It got ratings for Bush during the 9/11 incident, but now that the Americans have calmed down, a lot of them are realising that a war is a very, very unsafe idea.

Though personally, I think John Kerry looks a tad too squeaky clean. He's like one of those presidents who'd pop out of a futuristic sci-fi movie.

Kerry'll take money out of the war effort and raise taxes. Woohoo! The economy will actually have money coming into it again. t the towelheads kill eachother all they want, the US should look out for number one.

Muz, I think you underestimate the power of al-Qaeda. Not only do the actual organisation have lots of funds from countries that hates the west, the organisation also has supporting groups that are selfsupplying/funded by al-Qaeda. The nextwork is bigger than you think.

There are wellfounded specualtions of al-Qaeda friendly individuals/or even a group hidding in my small country ... Denmark. Not that they may actually do something here, but an army needs funds as much as soldiers.

Personally I hope Kerry wins. I dont like Bush allthough Im not really against the war in Iraq. However, Kerry seems like a pretty down-to-earth guy. Anyways ... based on what I know.

*update*
Oh, yeah. Another thing. Comment to Pete. I agree that elections in United Bluff are somewhat a media circus more than anything else compared to european countries. Also it seems money is an important winning factor, which is really not the case at least in my country.

Personally I think a bunch of nerds like us should be discussing things more suitable for our brains... Star Trek timelines for example?

Show me the power child,
I'd like to say,
That I'm down on my knees today,
Gives me the butterflies,
Gives me away,
'Til I'm up on my feet again,
I'm feeling outshined.

Kerry seems like a honest man,
but it can be wrong.
But if he is really a honest man,
i would then even like america..
But if Bush wins, it proves that the
america is not just the fattest country in the
world (57% are overweighted) and one of the
lowest reading rate having industrial country (89 percent can read and that is a very low rate)
it is also the stupidest country in the world,
because the whole iraq campaing was standing of
CIA´s and Bush´s lies...

AND THE THING WHICH MAKE ME REALLY ANGRY:
the united fucking states wants that the international
war court wouldnt judge any of their soldiers.
The america killed lots of sivilians in vietnam for
just a fun, and their tortuering things of their
intelligence were more brutal than GESTAPO´s.
I can make here a topic where i say from an outsiders
view about america, and that what bush has made it look.
Clinton were a good president, but bush can go to lick
his fathers ass..

And how can we rightly answer that question?
Whichever of the two are best able to guard the laws and institutions of our State --let them be our guardians.

Very good.
Neither, I said, can there be any question that the guardian who is to keep anything should have eyes rather than no eyes?

There can be no question of that.
And are not those who are verily and indeed wanting in the knowledge of the true being of each thing, and who have in their souls no clear pattern, and are unable as with a painter's eye to look at the absolute truth and to that original to repair, and having perfect vision of the other world to order the laws about beauty, goodness, justice in this, if not already ordered, and to guard and preserve the order of them --are not such persons, I ask, simply blind?

For the elections..
But if George Bush the stupider wins the elections with
cheating again, i´ll blow this hole place up with USA boikot..
(Al Gore had 520 voices more than Bush, but the Bush were still elected by some stupid law)

(and that means that i bring up the every social problem of the USA up)
(and btw, there was a spelling error in tomatomans image.. it should be wasn´t )
(and im not that bad in english, just in americanenglish... my english grade is currently 9)
