Well, a few of you know that I've started the sequel to Mr Stumps Dentures. You'll either be giving a hurrah, a booooo! or a "meh, don't care".

I've decided to show a pretty early video of what you might expect from MSD2: Tooth Decay, as it shall be known. And I'm not going to advertise too heavily on it as I did with MSD1. Just a few forum posts, but no news submissions to sites like Klik-Me, or my own site. For the reason that people expected highly of the first game, which failed to deliver (thanks in part to me, and to continual news posts at Planet Klik, Total Klik and Klik-Me). Still I thought you might want to know whats going on, so here's the video. (3.somethingMB)

Sweet level design, I like that factory-cement-waterfall palace style area, but if you don't put a save, even a password system in, consider your family DEAD. Orrr not.

Don't worry, there WILL be a save feature in the game.

That's great to hear! However, this time, include module music instead of poor-sounding MIDIs. And yes, I agree: the first game was overhyped. When I saw the video, it was playing real cool music, and I thought it would actually be part of the game! O.o Then, I was a bit disappointed that it just had MIDIs. I was also a bit confused that it had no save game feature.

Well, I hope you look into those things. It would make this game a whole lot better.

Don't forget that MSD1 was a game in which Mr Stump had to jump into his own mouth...

Expect the unexpected

ahh the music burns my ears!

looks nice and all but don't you think it's time for a break from this sort of game? there's more in you than platformers with blocky outline graphics, i'm sure of it

I too think you should actually try a different kinda game. Besides Mr Stump's dentures wasn't very special, not that you didn't put much effort into it

It looks fun. I, for one, like a good double outline sprite.

If it's as challenging as the first and can incorporate a save system for the decidely less hardcore without watering down the gameplay, make mine MSD2.

I think the character/enemy sprites could be a tad bit bigger.

IMO if you don't want to hype the game, then don't release videos with fast pace music and trailers putting excitement on the release...

The screen for the game looks pretty big.

Looks pretty good though.

AY III! Please, no path movements, it'd not only be funnier, but more interesting to play with enemies that fall to their deaths and jump at you. Bigger enemies, that is also a consideration I'd like to agree with.
