I just thought I'd ask; Anyone wants to do some voice acting for unrelenting (http://www.create-games.com/download.asp?id=4576). I would had done it myself, if it wasnt for that I dont speak english that very well. I need someone that is pass their 'voice change' (or what ever its called in english) and someone that speaks english very well. I need about 5 male acters and 2 female acters. Anyone willing ?
LOL... even some commercial companies don't have as many voice actors. I know a few big games that sound like they were played by the same person. Just do your own voicing. A cheap headset would do.

Sounds like fun . I'll have a go, but usually voices in click games sound very unprofessional.
yea....that was what I thought, maybe someone is willing to act like a female? Do this girly voice, maybe a kid that hasnt gone past his voice change pubarty thing?
I could probably do the female voice, but I'm not sure if I could send big files all that easily.

Elaborate, I don't know what you're talking about.
holy crap that is excellent! I thought nobody would help me out. Ok, you are defiantly in. Il find a character for you, Logan Godwin would maybe fit your voice, he is the leading chracter.
Voice change: I mean when you are like 13 or 14 years old and have this voice change, you voice goes from squicy to a more mandly voice, maybe its just called pubarty. I dunno
Voice acting is a blast and the demo of your game was a lot of fun, so I'd love to help you out. I work tonight, but if you send me an email with a few lines and a description of the character I can give it shot and email you back the sound files.
a tutor at my college lent me this Game making book a while ago, just going over basic design and do's and dont's kinda stuff, the whole thing was just extracts and interviews with big cheese game exec's. anyways some guy, head of Novasoft or something said that you should never get your mates to do voice overs for commercial games because it feels cheap.
Radix: Something wrong with the story? What do you mean? The scrips I gave you guys are random stuff from the game.
Kirby: check out this link, it explains what you have to do http://home.broadpark.no/~krhannev/voiceac.htm
Jay: it is a freeware game!
Im good at alot of different voices. Such as evil long laughs (MU-WHA-HA-HA). Or high and low voices. I have a sore throat right now, but when it isnt I can sound just like Yoda, its hilarious.
Monkey - okay, but the thing is one of the lines starts talking about how there's no gravity on the moon. Actually, the moon has 1/6 of a g. That's better than the earth but it's not *no* gravity. For the moon to have no gravity it would have to have no mass, and it would fly off into space.
If we can get a female voice soon, I could start a test level with the voices and send them to you. Just to show you what you will be workin with.
Also, I have had peapules asking me how to pronounce 'amygdala' I have uploaded my own voice there explaining how. With the name 'mb - amygdala' Keep in mine that I was extremely tired, so I sound like this pilot voice guy...
To radix and anybody else that wants to try I have now uploaded a sceene from the game. Download it and record in your voice. Please cut the samples up for every new paragraph.
i would have loved to try this out, but i don't have a mic.
anyway ive heard my voice on my videocamera and it sounds NOTHING like what i thought it did. it sounds more like harry potter than i thought. well a typical English accent anyway.
that was actually pretty good, phizzy. and that Ophelia voice wasnt that bad eighter. Ok then we got Radix and Phizzy, anyone else wants to make some voices?
dunno if you got the male voices you want, but i can do a normal american and texan accent somewhat ok. Also, i can speak with an indian accent. Sorta like Apu from simpsons...my friends tell me my indian accent is good anyways ..
I dont need it anymore. I found out that there is no one to do woman acting, and that the voice files would be about 20mb zipped. But I was pretty impressed by the uploads I got (listen to them here: http://d1131346.hosted44.servetheworld.no/monkey/upload.php)
So I am planning another game that is ment for voice samples - with less dialogs and no female characters. Phizzy and Radix are interested. So I guess that you can upload some voice samples of your self now, then when I am making this game I might use you as a voice character (wich is probably some months form now).
