Thanks to Sir Awesomeface McUrbanMonkington, the puzzle editor is in a functional state. This means the fun of making puzzles and tricking people into helping me. Woohoo! Over the past week, I've managed to get a large portion of the tutorial coded (no voice this time, sorry. ) and a few more tweaks and ideas for the interface completed. (Can you say SPIFFY BUTTONS? I thought you could.)
Editor features:
●-Ability to select difficulty level (Easy, Medium, Hard)
-This means puzzle size. More difficult levels
are bigger and scroll.
-This means number of Rainbow Orbs.
-This also means the obvious... difficulty.
●-Ability to set level title and author. (May not display all of this information--we'll see.)
●-Pro-looking kick-butt interface.
●-Dynamic walls
-Walls and Locked walls change animation according to the position of walls around them.
●-Seal system
-To prevent tampering with files or loading unauthorized files in the main game. (Any user-created puzzle can be loaded in the level editor)
●-Scrolling
I propose a toast to the gents who've lent their skills to this project! It would not be the same without. Thank you, Mavado, Johan Hargne, UrbanMonk, and Rox Flame! I'd also like to thank Hempuli, Jon Lambert, Codemonkey, and Sumo for being awesome along the way.
I leave you with two presents. Leave me with comments?
