Review: Titan Omega 1.5
Hey wowie, this game has an awesome James like presentation! The menu's are well designed, and look really nice and spiffy. The in game options are easy to understand, and everything is easy to get to. However, I felt like there were almost too many menu's to go through before starting level 1, and was a bit overwhelming.
The gameplay really shines in this game. With over a gazzilion weapons to play with, this game is recommended for any pyscopath's or pyromaniacs you might know. The enimes are well designed, and the AI of your teammates is not only awesome, but controllable too! You can set them to hide or form and whatnot, which is quite the nice touch. You can also have a friend control one of the ships. The bosses are pretty much perfect, they gave me a nice rush. You can buy lots of weapons, upgrades, armor, and even gamble between deaths. That was nice. :)I couldn't think of mmuch to be improved, although it was a bit hard to understand at the beggining.
The graphics are divine, classic James stuff. The ships, baddies, explosives, menus, and everything are original, which made me happy. The explosions are pretty good, really theres not much to say about the graphics except that they are perfect!
Another great thing about this game is the music! It sets the right tone for each level, and it's pretty professional sounding. I'm pretty sure it's original too, don't quote me though. The chaos is complemented my satisfying sound effects, which give you a good sense of destruction! :D
If you really like these kinds of games, Titan Omega 1.5 will last you a looooong time. With so much to see and do, it would take forever to experiment with every aspect of the game. However, I didn't play the game all the way through, so I can't say how much time it would take to beat it. I would guess at least 5+ hours, at least .
Overall, this is a fantastic game that has obviously had ton's of time and effort into it. It seems very underrated, at least on the daily click. An almost perfect game, with the drawbacks of a few tiny things.
