Possibly the first game submitted to the DC which is made in darkbasic , its also the last thing i will ever make in that program, going on the amount of bugs, stupid things and unexplainable errors i encountered (Like why setting the colour of text suddenly stopped working and why adding music made the game run too fast). Anyway, in this "game" your mission is to fly your spaceship through an asteroid "field" (though you only ever see one of them at a time) without crashing into any of them. Every one you sucessfully pass you get 100 points for, and at the end it tells you your score (No hiscore table though..by the time i got that far into making this i really couldnt be arsed to wrestle with DB any further). Oh well, 'enjoy'

UPDATE-Currently all my game links are broken, im not really going much click stuff right now (im concentrating on some DooM stuff ive got going on), so they will be fixed at an indefinite time in the future, i'll put this warning on all my game pages, and also delete my game website links

UPPERDATE-This game is Back!!, you can now download it from my new site, on a decent hosting service that i actually pay for!, so download it now..pity its crap though

Good choice mister crystal clear XD, it took..i'd say around 24 hours all put together LOL, after lots of posting on the DB forums for help or trying to find inexplicable bugs XD

Aaaaahh!!! The menu started flashing and now I'm half blind! I've got Blitz Basic 2D/3D and it works very well... Maybe you should try it.

I have DB but I can't be assed to use it. The best thing I ever made on it was: print "Hello World" :D

Hello everyone! really we can put DB programms in the DC? I didn´t know that. And other thing, from my point of view DB is not sooooo buggy, i think that the biggest trouble in Dark Basic is to get the programs running at a considerable speed (if you get a "complex" game running at 15 fps in an average machine with all optimisations you can think you can be very lucky! :P). I´m downloading this game right now and i´m thinking to release my DB´s demos sometime in the near future.

You can put any game made in any language on the DC, but the most supported are the Click series games (and to support this I don't review any non-Click games. Mostly because my computer is unlikely to be able to run them, though). Speaking of reviews, I'll be back reviewing soon - difficult times just now. Just that and the past six months.
