This is a battle system I have created when I'm bored one rainy day. I hope you rpg fans would use this engine and modify it to make a very good game. I used to like rpg but now that i'm just a little too good I don't need it anymore. RPG are way too easy for me, I just fought around a field until I have enough level so the enemies in that place won't scratch me then I can go on. Someone commented me that the engine is nice so i shared here. I hope you liked it!

well its very basic, not much features just attack and defend, not much strategy to that - maybe if there were more attacks it would be good in addition u gotta use groups to make it more organized - its a lil difficult to see what u did because im looking all over the place, but u made a working rpg engine so good job

....you used black mage from FF1... but it doesn't matter, cuz' this isn't a game. Well, it's good not much slection of actions(like Sniper said), needs groups

you shouldn't say you "too good" till u've beaten all the rpg's (well most of the rpg's since i don't thionk it's possible to play them all)

I know... but if you use it you could add the affects to it! And even make iit better! This is all I could supply for you. Since this is the original fighting system in most rpg and the selections are used at the start of the game. So you could continue on and gain more selections! Its that simple! Good luck!

Nice job, although a very elementary engine. it could use more stuff like magic, items, and/or skills. This tutoral is very hard to understand because it isn't commented and grouped. Again, good job considering that not many could pull an RPG engine like this.

Well yea, but the programming is easier to do if you could simply use global values and alterable values. Then you could create a good battle system

You can just download tgf for free at http:///www.clickteam.com and why are you working with gm? Don't you know that GM Is very hard to do(But very powerful) Its hard and powerful but for begginners you could use clickteam products. Get the one for free. GM Is harder to make rpg then clickteam products. You are welcome to programming world of klik or if you don't want to then i feel sorry for you. GM Is the first program I used to make my games. Well, it turns out that I failed creating it. It is really ghard you know. if you really know how to use gm then could you give me some pointers?
