Battle blade 2 is a sequel that i made some time ago. Itīs a horizontal shmup inspired by Cave games such as DoDonPachi DOJ and Progear. It contains five levels and has two loops. True boss apears after the end boss on second loop.

You control one of two fighters in a counterattack on the invading forces and to end the raging war.

System:
Arrows Move
Button 1 Shoot
Button 2 Hyperbomb

F1 Change controls
ESC Quit

Power up by shooting enemys.
hits/ power
0 -39 /level 1
40-149 /level 2
150 /level 3

Bonus points are given after each stage for:
No miss
Number of bombs
stars collected
(stars collected will reset to zero if you loose any life. Collecting stars will also grant new hyperbombs.)

Very nice, although the missles that the first boss fires appeared to be impossible to avoid.

Gameplay is way to fast.
It is quite difficult to dodge the bullets. If you can make it slower, it will be a better game.

Wow, this is actually pretty neat. Very fast paced, and quite well made, although I found a few bugs.

First time I made it to the second level I thought it was a cutscene and I died on the first enemy .

Great, I was a fan of the original and this one is cool too, I love the fast pace, but sometimes there is not enough space between bullets and it's hard to dodge them (especially the ones bosses fire at you). Gamepad support is needed too, and a level selection mode or something would be awesome. Good work.

my bad, I just read here you can change controls with F1, the suggestion then is to include that on the title screen or something

I really like this. Mainly because its not amazingly hard to play, like most of these genres of games. Graphics are just right and same for the music.
Very nice job.

I'm not sure if its a bug or not, but when i beat the first boss, occasionally around 1000 medals pop out. It dosn't look right.

game's too fast and difficult. it has quite good graphics, but music is very annoying. it could be very good shooter if it was little easier.

I found the bullets too EASY to avoid. If you find the "sweet" spot during a boss battle, you can stay in one place, fire continuously, and everything skims past you.

For the first boss, it's vertically in the center, all the way to the left.
But fun otherwise.
