Here's a demo of a game I have been working on for the past two days. It's using my old version of the Poob engine. Anyway it's about three characters, Blue, Red and Yellow. You must guide them to the end of level while avoiding all traps (spikes, bad dudes).

Anyway the controls are:

Left and Right Arrows: Move
Up: Character's ability
Z: Change to Blue Character
X: Change to Red Character
C: Change to Yellow Character.

Blue can run and jump
Red can shoot bullets (by pressing up) (destroys bad dudes) however can't jump and is slow.
Yellow can fly (by pressing up) but can't move.

Collect Purple Time Crystals for an extra 2 seconds.
Touch the C checkpoints for an extra 10 seconds and to save your progress in the level.

Anyway have fun. The full game shall be completed in about a week or two.
(Music hopefully emulates the Sega Mega Drive)

First of all i'll say that the music is really good. Yes it sounds exactly like a Megadrive/Genesis. The graphics are nice and jolly although it seems to be a mashup of styles, but it still looks quite good. The game play isn't quite there though. The blue guy is quite tricky to control with his instant deceleration and swapping characters just doesn't flow at all. I made loads of errors because of this (or perhaps I suck) Those floating platforms were a right pain in the posterior. The bit after that was a nightmare.
I suggest being able to toggle your character with a single button and maybe let your butterfly character move left and right, it doesn't really make sense that he/she can't move from side to side.

Oh yeah and what the heck, why do so many games make you die when walking into the side of upward facing spikes?

This is promising stuff though Image

nice game + concept but a bit too hard.

I enjoyed both the concept and the game. I think this would be a rock solid addition to the DC-arcade.

5 stars- kudos!^^ Btw did you use the parallaxer object for the background? Just wondering. (Mostly because I haven't figured it out yet, lol.)

Great concept, just try with some better graphics (larger resolution), and maybe more timer
