Some Super Mario clone featuring an old character I used to use back when I was a kid, it's quite quirky so I apologize SPECIALLY with some of the levels from the second zone (but in case you get stuck or in doubt, check out the INFORMATION DEMO.txt file!)
Yeah I know it is awful to use the Hotel Mario music for this, but hey at least not only I stole the music but also the gimmick for the second zone!!! (and so, FOR THE REST OF ZONES HAHAHAHA!!!! except for the fifth one)
Enjoy how bad this game is!! Although in case of criticism please be respectful, thank you.
As it is a Super Mario clone it plays the same as a 2D Mario game.
UPDATE AS OF APRIL 5TH: Due to some false positives I had to compile the game AGAIN as an unpacked executable file, but now with a new addition!

Thanks for posting your latest game to The Daily Click.

Some thoughts after playing Stage 1 and a bit of Stage 2:
* Generally straightforward and clear what to do.
* The art style is pretty fun and coherent.
* It's fun to have exploding enemies. Kaboom! (Although sometimes it hits me when I think I ought to be far enough away - maybe maybe the explosion a tad bigger to make it clear?)
* I'm glad 'game over' allows you to replay the current stage rather than starting from scratch.
* Is it just me, or in the parallax do the distant mountains move faster than the nearby trees?
* I sometimes feel like I'm just about to jump into water.
* The music does start to get annoying after a while, but it's definitely catchy.

Why does it use music and sfx from Hotel Mario?

Other than that, pretty cool Mario clone. Although I feel like the collisions and enemy hit detections could be a tad bit better, especially during that one boss on the first world. Also the game stutters every so often, not sure why.

I know it's just a demo, but it's looking pretty cool so far. Keep up the good work!
